The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals declares the US Constituion unconstitutional because it violated the basic Constitutional tenet of separation of church and state. Specifically, the Preamble, which most schoolchildren are required to memorize, contains the word "blessings." Blessing, of course, is the act or words of one that blesses. Bless is defined by Merriam-Websters Collegiate Dictionary as 1 : to hallow or consecrate by religious rite or word 2 : to hallow with the sign of the cross 3 : to invoke divine care for.
The text of the Constitution, therefore, impermissibly takes a position with respect to the purely religious question of the existence and identity of God," the court's three judge panel wrote.

They can't do that! It's my wife's birthday! I done bought a ton of firecrackers for the crew to show the locals how to celebrate here in New Zealand.
Next, they'll do away with Murphy's Laws!

My little sister is homeschooled, but that is because she is so advanced that a public school system would slow her down. She has been homeschooled for about 6 years now, but is going to a private Christian school next year because she needs to make more friends (become more socially active) and this school can advance her at a good rate. She is going to be in 7th grade next year, but because this junior high is also connected to the high school, they can put her in sophomore geometry. I am quite proud of her actually, soon she will be better at math than I am.

My posting was intended as sarcasm. I realize today's ruling was about the Pledge. Just demonstrating "slippery slope." Yeah, I think we got that. At least some of us. The fact that some didn't is testament to the incredible destructivenes of liberalism in general and Clintonism in particular, with the sober realization that all that PC-apparatus Bill and Hill installed during their right year reign of terror is just sitting around waiting to be picked up.
And all that can easily happen while George W. Bush is busy trying to out-compassion the democrats. Nero fiddled, you know. . .

How I wish more of the so called conservatives on this site wold feel the same way. Whenever I bring the subject up I am told that I don't understand politics or that Bush is only doing this to confuse the dems or that he made a deal not to embarass the dems. In any case, I wish he would persue prosecution of the Clintons.

No problem, I may hate science class, but I remember what I learned. By the way, centrifical force does defy the laws of gravity in many ways, but never mind about that.

Some people couldn't spot sarcasm or reductio ad absurdum if their life depended on it.
However, it can be very effective with the majority who can, and the ones who can't often make interesting responses.
So, keep it up.

Don't worry about what they tell you, some day, through citizen initiated action, the Clintons will be brought to justice.

I am looking forward to the next JW press release. Keep me on your ping list if you post another one.

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals declares the US Constituion unconstitutional because...A more realistic scenario would have this declaration made by the United Nations and/or the World Trade Organization.
