I really hope you are right! I would hope it depresses the RAT vote everywhere and increases people to vote in Republican Senators. I just want to oust Harkin in Iowa really bad!

Oh, this is some freedom we have, huh Saber? If you don't like it, go somewhere else?

Huh? What happened to liberty and freedom? Have you ever actually listened to the pledge you are ranting about? Liberty and justice for all?

So this is just liberty for Christians, I guess?

You do not know your History.

Nor is anyone denying you your liberty. Your Liberty is a function of your inalienable rights, with which you were endowed by your Creator. That would be God.

How does being subjected to overhearing the recitiation of "under God," (that selfsame Creator), infringe upon the rights with which you were endowed by that Creator?

By banning the Pledge in our schools, it prevents my family from teaching regarding the existance of a Supreme Being.

Really? So your family's religious instruction is dependant upon the Pledge of Allegiance not being banned in schools? I'm at a loss when I try to understand how the removal of the school endorsement of the Pledge somehow directly affects your family's ability to teach of religious matters.

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all."

Works for me.

Take back the Senate.

This is what liberal judges will do under Tom Daschle.

I can't even begin to find the words to respond to this.

The dissent by Judge Fernandez that I posted at #160 is worth reading.
