I meant it from the bottom of my heart! You make it so understandable and kind.

Look, if all of the "disaffected" former Bush supporters on this site were what they say they are then Bush would have won the popular vote with 60%. I have noticed about 3 posters that hate Bush that are honest enough to admit they never voted for him in the first place. Yes there are a few around here that were very active in the primaries however, when their man did NOT win, they just lost all interest and decided to turn their energy to blasting the guy that did win and yelling "I told ya so".

How did you know that his email was from Brigadiars? I'm curious......Did he know? Were there names? That's a good question. I'd also like to know why Rush did the parody of the "average FReeper" - it certainly was not very flattering.

As I recall, Levin had quadruple or maybe even 5 vessel by pass surgery, last year and Rush also had his surgery. Both seem to have undergone radical personality changes. Maybe it's related, maybe not,but there have been some studies that have shown, that post op cardiac patients have personality changes-whether it's from anoxia during the procedure or some other insult, the researchers are not sure. Rush's surgery was done, through the skull, behind his ear.Maybe these two have bonded because of their medical problems .But something is definitely up with these two.

Oh, my, I just realized this thread got a little, uh, feisty in my absence. Wow. My post to you seems like really old news, and woefully out of sync... ;^)

Yes, it did. It's a good thing you showed up. We may need some prayers.......LOL.

I've faced death enough times it would be welcome at this point I certainly hope you stick around since you soul is gentle and your life has tremendous worth.

post op cardiac patients have personality changesOddly enough, you are the 2nd person tonight to have mentioned that possibility to me. And I've heard that before about bypass patients.

We're dealing with powerful forces. Bush is more open about it than Clinton, but anyway you look at it the medicine strong enough to keep the world safe for freedom loving people is also strong enough to enslave us all. We really do depend on honest, competent leaders with a true understanding of what's essential.
We have gone past the point, as a country, where we can ensure our collective freedom by keeping the federal government too weak to put it at risk.
And the world is going past the point that it can ensure its collective freedom by remaining isolationist.
We must elect good leaders; we must understand ourselves what is important so that we will know good leaders when we see them; we must teach our children thus; and we must not fail.
No - I did not get your uneasy feeling. If Bush walked by my room right now, you'd see an old man snap to salute like he hasn't in decades, a tear of joy on his cheek.

Hey Mark. For those of us playing along at home, it was very fun. God bless YOU especially.
I think you put into words what many silent lurkers want to say, but are afraid to, for fear of being abused by whichever attack-pack shows up first, or of being singled out for banishment.
I hope Rush catches this thread. Maybe he'll have a new perspective on what it means to "go freeper".

Here's one:
See?It's not much, but I don't have the time these days to post on many threads these days outside of D.C. Chapter activities. I'm not on the Keyes threads much, either.
Also, if I do offer a criticism of President Bush's policies, I don't feel required to preface it with, "I support him overall, but..."
To: Howlin
FWIW, Bush is a diplomat, and I'm not. I could never be as polite as he is in the situations he's been thrust into. I would've nuked Tora Bora on September 12th. (I'm not proud of that sentiment or that visceral reaction, just honest.)
Personally, when Dubya gave them the Deuteronomy tonight I thought it was one of the more pointed things he's ever said to them. To me it was like "Shape up, ya loonies, or say 'hello' to the big portobello!"
Yes, I dabble occasionally in the belly of Bushbotdom. ('Cept I usually get called a Twinkie when I do.)

I don't "claim" anything about Cheney's house. I DID IT. And I did it very successfully.
That comment like your's is typical of the bullying tactics employed here. A sideways comment meant to impugn someone's motives without confronting them directly. That is cowardly and childish.

I guarantee you that there is nothing you can say about Rush Limbaugh that we all haven't heard or read about at least a million times. So, if you are incapable of coming up with some interesting or original material, put a sock in it!

These threads are interesting, in a weird sort of way, like when you go site seeing after a tornado or drive really slow past a car wreck.
To: kristinn
OH bully, again! LOL. You made a claim, and I asked a question, which I will ask again.
"How did you know that his email was from Brigadiars? I'm curious......Did he know? Were there names?"
Any answers?
To: Amelia; A Citizen Reporter
That's what I remember from that time. I'm sure the threads about it are in the FR archives somewhere.

People generally don't tamper with a winning formula, but Rush did an about-face on several fronts simultaneously:
1. He started to become hyper-critical of Bush.
2. He made a point of dissociating himself from the Republican Party.
3. He started to be nasty to some callers who disagree with him.
I'm thinking that the EIB people maybe were starting to see some ratings numbers that made them nervous so they decided to give to the program some edge.
