Maybe it's related, maybe not,but there have been some studies that have shown, that post op cardiac patients have personality changes-whether it's from anoxia during the procedure or some other insult, the researchers are not sure. Rush's surgery was done, through the skull, behind his ear.Maybe these two have bonded because of their medical problems .But something is definitely up with these two.

It may just be coincidence that Rush went on his anti-Bush tear during the pre-summer ratings period, but I doubt it.

People generally don't tamper with a winning formula, but Rush did an about-face on several fronts simultaneously:

1. He started to become hyper-critical of Bush.

2. He made a point of dissociating himself from the Republican Party.

3. He started to be nasty to some callers who disagree with him.

I'm thinking that the EIB people maybe were starting to see some ratings numbers that made them nervous so they decided to give to the program some edge.

I am way, way past my bedtime, but I had to go and read some of holdonnows threads-they are so full of bitterness and anger-just like Rush. They use the exact same phraseology. I was just praising Mark on a thread yesterday-I had no idea he had descended into the mire of puerile name calling and Bush bashing, along with Rush. How very sad for the both of them. Move over Pat, two more are coming.
