And where, EXACTLY, is exercise by the POTUS called for in the Constitution? What a wasted day! /sarcasm off

It isn't, and if he doesn't shut up about it, I am going to call for his impeachment so I can get my peace around here again! Grumble grumble, grumble! Why I betcha he is going to get that Nazi Ashcroft person to enforce a new exercise mandate on all of us!
Taking away my right to be a couch potato!

We have the nucleus of activism city here - in the "dose" but also on all of FR. What power we could exert if only we decided to be united to TAKE BACK THE SENATE!

Even without all the Bush Bashers - (they seem like many but according to the poll here on FR - they are only about 20% of FReepers and some of them are definitely DU plants...) - even without them, FR would be a formidable force for our goal of Kicking Tommy and Hillary out of their throne room seas of power!

There should be no other goal so important as this - unless, of course, it is also keeping - enlarging - the House Majority.

This we know: The Demonrats with their terrorist allies will be doing everything possible to be SURE this doesn't happen - using every illegal and treacherous trick in the book. The Dems are hoping the PResident will be too busy with everything that's going on to think about campaigning .....and they are working to see that more troubles come to our nation and its citizens and especially to the President.

We are in a battle for the survival of America. We must unite, organize, and fight - and NOW - not later!

That's the great thing about President Bush though, admiralsn. He isn't caught up in the 'appearance' and ego trips like x42id. He believes the best person should make it to the finish line. Period. :o)

Two things:
(1) You can contact your congressman and sometimes get a flag that has flown over the US Capitol.

(2) I'd keep it kinda simple, yet meaningful. Get a nice looking glass container and a scoopful of dirt. If possible, try to get the dirt from the site where your friends first entered the country, or from the site where she is taking the oath of citizenship. When I think of this country, I think of the physical aspect of this country. The ground we walk on. The land we labor. The land we love.

OK, maybe it is getting late and maybe that's a little too sappy. But the flag thing would be good.

Oh Howlin, my heroine! I could not agree with you more! It is more important than ever that we stand our ground and do all we can to help elect Republicans to the Senate and the House and get Bush reelected. I heard a radio show today with an ex FBI agent who is spilling the beans on the FBI under Clinton, and it is no wonder no one saw 911 coming.
It would be no different if a RAT is elected again. He praised the job Mueller is doing already, saying he is doing the right things and getting the agency in order like it should be.
Thanks so much for what you said, and know that many of us will join you in keeping the country on the right track!
BushBots forever, whatever in the world that is! LOL!

(Is this cool or what? Today's Psalm 19 I - goes right with the pictures and theme of today's Dose!

This Psalm also contains some of the most memorable passages from all of Scripture.

Psalm 19

The Perfect Revelation of the LORD

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
        And the firmament shows His handiwork.
        2Day unto day utters speech,
        And night unto night reveals knowledge.
        3There is no speech nor language
        Where their voice is not heard.
        4Their line[1] has gone out through all the earth,
        And their words to the end of the world.

        In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,
        5Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
        And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.
        6Its rising is from one end of heaven,
        And its circuit to the other end;
        And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

        7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
        The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
        8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
        The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
        9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;
        The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
        10More to be desired are they than gold,
        Yea, than much fine gold;
        Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
        11Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
        And in keeping them there is great reward.

        12Who can understand his errors?
        Cleanse me from secret faults.
        13Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins;
        Let them not have dominion over me.
        Then I shall be blameless,
        And I shall be innocent of great transgression.

        14Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
        Be acceptable in Your sight,
        O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.
