President Bush and First Lady Laura hosted the first ever Presidential Fitness Challenge today in Washington. The President and White House staff participated in a three-mile run, while Laura joined the mile walk. Bush finished 26th with a personal best time of 20:29. After finishing the race, the President said he 'felt great.' Tomorrow, the Presidential fitness weekend will continue with another game of tee ball at the White House. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Now Rintense, with these pictures, you are really putting me in trouble! I've been working to get my girlfriend's attention away from the prez, and I've had mild success until tonight's dose. well, maybe I shouldn't blame you, it's all W's fault.
btw, any babe/buck seen "minority report"? terrific movie, I recommend it to everyone.
To: Howlin
True, just publish their freepmails here on the thread. We'll take care of the rest ;o)
To: Howlin
Howlin, I could not agree with you more. We must be united and forget the distractors except to politely tell them how they are wrong. But our main business is to get a republican house and senate.
I belong to a Hispanic Republican club and we are working on getting the vote out and we are working on recruiting more people. I think especially here in Texas with the democrat "dream team" of a hispanic for governor, black for senator and an anglo for Lt. governor, that we all must work hard even in our local/state level.
But to the whole country it is most important to get the President the people he needs to get his agenda going and that means a republican house and senate.
I am so impressed with Bush and his deep feelings about God and the country and the love for his country and then there is that liberal agenda that must come to a halt as I can't imagine my children growing up in a liberal/socialist world.

How about an autographed picture of the president. Has anyone gotten their pics from the president? I haven't.

Sounds like you are very active in state politics. I have a lot of concern about the Cornyn/Kirk race. I see a lot of Kirk bumper stickers in my part of Texas. Scares me to death!

I intend to fully support him in 2004, and I intend to work and vote for Republican candidates this fall, so that we can reclaim the Senate and GET CONSERVATIVE JUDGES PUT ON THE BENCHES, among other things. AMEN!!
I write a letter to the editor of my local newspaper once a month informing the public about the misdeeds of the dastardly Democrats. (Actually, I could write one more often, but the rule is one a month.)
For some reason, my paper usually doesn't publish these facts so I get a kick out of doing it!!!! In fact, once the editor called me and asked me where I got my info. Amazing, isn't it??
My goal is to influence senior citizens, who read the paper faithfully, to vote Republican. What made me truly happy was that a friend who voted for Al Gore told me she likes President Bush.
I've been avoiding those negative threads and enjoy coming here for the dose at the end of the day. (As far as I'm concerned, these whiners are irrelevant.)
To: Howlin
Now, we have two choices. We can sit here and spin our wheels or we can go out and fight like hell to reclaim the Senate ...
Well said, howlin. This choice is clear.

What made me truly happy was that a friend who voted for Al Gore told me she likes President Bush. The EXACT same thing happened to me; a VERY liberal friend of mine, my best friend, in fact, said -- without prompting from me, "You know, I really do feel good about him."
I was so floored I didn't say a word....I wasn't going to push it!

You are right on the money. I firmly believe that many of those carping are not really politically active anyway. They just like to carp. Sitting behind a computer and spouting of is easy...it's the nitty gritty part of campaign work that's difficult. My question to all the naysayers is, okay then, just what the hell to you intend on doing to insure that more conservatives get elected? You're going to wage a boycott and vote for the Dems to teach the GOP a lesson? Yeah, that's the ticket. It's pure BS this nonsense about not voting or voting for the opponent to prove a point. The only message that gets across is who won the election, period. It doesn't really by how much but just who won.
For me, I intend on doing everything that I can to help get the Senate back in the GOP's hands come November. The whiners just want to whine and they will continue to do so not matter what. They love their moral victories; that way they can hold their noses up at the rest of us and pooh-pooh us Bushbots for not being true conservatives. And frankly, if their idea of being a true conservative is to be like them, than they can have it and I will proudly say that I am not a conservative; if it means joining their chorus, forget it.
TAKE BACK THE SENATE!!! That's the mantra.

Does she come on the Day in the Life thread?
Does she know that being a Bushbot is a requirement for citizenship !:)
Anyway, you could have a t-shirt made for her with an appropriate sentiment. Or you could create one with your printer and ....

BTW, his hair looks fantastic, don't you think? Yes, very full, and surprisingly dark.

For some reason, my paper usually doesn't publish these facts. I think that was confusing! I didn't mean they didn't publish my letters because they do. There is another local paper here that didn't publish my letters, and I wrote to the publisher. I accused them of being liberals and told them they are a good example of the book, "Bias." I finally cancelled my subscription.

Rintense, great work as usual! I looked in vain for
a certain photo I saw earlier today--W is standing
still, head down, resting at the race's end. Holding
a bottle of water in his right(?) hand. Very nice!
Can you or SOMEONE post it, please?!
To: Dr. Scarpetta
Oh, I knew what you meant! How many times have you found youself in a situation where you add something to the conversation that you've read/heard on FR and people look at you like you're some kind of political maven.......LOL.

Thank you for the great pictures. Here is the address of a good site with patriotic gifts. I ordered a flag and eagle figurine for my son who recently turned 18 and is registering to vote. They have some beautiful music boxes with eagles and flags that play God Bless America.
