I keep saying this as often as I can, but nobody will listen to/believe me. The Center for Immigration Studies estimates the number to be $55,200, but even $50K is bad enough.

One time I happened into a Bank of America in Madera and what a shock! The line was OUT THE DOOR with Mexicans cashing their welfare checks. I said, "Why don't they go to the cash machine to deposit their checks rather than wait in this long line?" The answer: They don't have ATM cards; they don't have checking accounts. I don't get it! We need to either retake California or hand it over to Mexico ala Kosovo, one way or the other. There is no way in which an essentially Mexican state should be allowed to have 20% of the electoral votes needed to elect an American president.
