Relax, would you? We have the recipe...
That said, I'm beginning to thing an expulsion of the Palestinians (as opposed to the Arab citizens of Israel who have generally not been involved in any of this) is one of Israel's few options at this point.
The very reason I posted the words of Meir Kahane is that people like yourself are now agreeing with what he said. I had also listened to him in person, as well as had listened to him on the Radio in interviews. He was villified for his views at the time. He was an easy person to hate becuase he brashly said what was a basic truth to those who know the Islamic-Arabs of the region well.
Unfortunately, everything he said would happen has happened. You may think he was a "nutcase", but you are agreeing with him now. Matter of fact, it is almost becoming fashionable for the very people who wanted him in Jail (or worse) to sound just like him.
He had an interim body in mind, with step-by-step progress toward full and sovereign self-rule alongside Israel, dependent on democratic reform within the Palestinian Authority.
Oh, yeah, that's gonna happen.
Wow. They're sure "getting brave", aren't they?
Mrs Kus
I don't speak for the president....but if it's any comfort to you....I think he knows that, but for the sake of all of us in the world, he's leaving those diplomatic doors open.
Ah...the UN again. No, he wasn't CONVICTED as a war criminal... IIRC, the UN made another of it's lovely 'resolutions' which basically CONDEMNED him as a 'war criminal' without a trial or evidence or facts, which might get in the way. The UN tried that with the so-called "Jenin massacre"....this time the world was watching and counting...and the UN had to back off.
Ain't it lovely how all the terrorist attacks for the past four decades have been excused by some UN resolution or other?
But not in Israel. Why don't they go to one of the Arab countries who kicked them out and try and set up a palestinian state? Lebanon, Jordon, Kuwait... to name a few?
Oh no. Not the sh*tbombs..
In truth, I was impatient in March.
.International government policy is unfortunately a few months behind grassroots movements, as a rule.
While flattered that both the US and Israeli governments, and even some Arab governments (King Abdullah, we need you to do something positive) have lately recognized the popular sentiment of about nine months ago, that popular sentiment is changing rapidly due to regime policy/imam orders which come from the local (Arab) versions of party machines. In fact, the sentiment of the peasant populace is changing faster than any sane government can keep up with.
I'm not so much impatient anymore as I am scared. I'm seeing more signs of imminent danger to US civilian employees of companies based in the Mideast...not from the governments, but from the populace...and signs of what looks like a more cohesive movement among the populace to back the decrees they get from their religious leaders.
It probably is. And if not, the Norwegian govt could probably arrange some in the lease.
No booze.
No bars.
No television.
No Internet.
No Hooters.
No music.
No radio.
No meat from a pig.
No organized sports, stadiums, tailgate parties.
(Actually, no tailgates.)
Sand everywhere and not a dune buggy in sight. Ever try to fish at an oasis?
Rags for clothes and hats.
Constant wailing from the guy next door because he is sick and no doctors.
You can't shave.
You can't shower.
BBQ donkey cooked over burning camel dung.
The women have to wear baggy dresses and veils at all times.
Your bride is picked by someone else.
Then they tell you that when you die it all gets better! Who wouldn't go for it?
No. No European nation has the resources to play rough with Israel. If the Euros had Israel on their doorstep, they'd be cringing and weaseling just like, say, the Egyptians :).
Sitting far away and providing explosives and money to suicide bombers more or less covers it. That and the "mein kampf" rethoric.

LOL...THAT bears repeating.
