Amazing Resemblance of Jose Padilla and the OKC John Doe

The Similarities between OKC John Doe # 2 as shown in photo far left, and the "dirty" bomber in photo second from
the left is uncanny.  Check out these points.

  1. Basic hair style.  Dirty bomber's is the same except it is shorter and a little more neat.
  2. The eyes are almost identical.  Check out the dirty bomber's left eye, your right against the same eye on JD#2.  The puffy outside of the lid is identical.
  3. Look at the eyebrows.  Once again almost identical.
  4. Look at the left eyes again, your right.  Check out the white of that eye and general shape.
  5. Check out the basic shape of the nose.  Both broad on the bridge and flared the same around nostrils.
  6. Check out the lips.  For a drawing the lips couldn't be drawn any better for either man if the artist were looking at them when he drew them.
  7. Check the basic pronounced ridge from the top lip to the nose.
  8. Check out the basic shape of the ears.  Both are fairly close to the head and vary only slightly.
  9. Discount the shadows on John Doe #2's forhead and temples.  Note the hairline for both.  Allowing for a small ammount of
          receeding hairline and artist's variances, and these are very similar.
10. Look on the left side of the neck where it joins the shoulder.  Allowing for some tone variance over the years, this too is almost identical.
11. Note the Chins.  Dirty bomber's is only slightly more pointed.

Remember, this photo was drawn from a description.  It would vary based on the descripton, memory of the witness and artist's skills.

Over the years this individual would have put on more weight.  Take five to ten pounds off that face and it would be thinner, even more like John Doe #2.

All these similarities being noted, I am not saying this is the same person.  I simply note the amazing similarities.

I have a degree in art and had to learn how to sketch faces. You learn to look for similarities in faces. These are the exact same eyebrows. The only differences are the nose is slightly turned up on John Doe-- and not turned up on Pedilla. Mouths are identical. Jaws are different on the two faces, but that could be just an error by the sketcher or the witness. The eye on the right and the brow are identical. The ears are identical. Cheeks, chin, foreheads are identical. Eerie! Stephen Jones said there were others involved, and just what was in the boxes of FBI evidence that delayed execution of McVeigh???? Maybe FBI has been trying to catch this John Doe all this time and just didn't tell us?

Yes, and someone came up with the concept before I did. They posted two photos next to each other and I resized them, reshaded them and made the morphing photo.

When these comparisons went up yesterday, the similarities were sufficient to cause a layman like me to be suspicious. From the art people aboard, I gather that it is somewhat more than suspicious.

And, surely, the authorities are at least examining this possibility.

So, let's hypothesize. Say that Jose Padilla is John Doe II. Would it be in the government's interest to admit the fact? Would it serve any productive purpose? Will we ever find out, one way or the other...???

I can see where we might not.

Our local news in OKC is about to cover the picture of John Doe #2!

Channel 9 is reporting the same thing as this thread. Taling to a Mother who lost a child and she was going through a box that contained one of the original John Doe pictures in it. She thinks they should trace his path.

Ricks who was head of the local FBI office (for what it is worth) said that John Doe #2 had nothing to do with the bombing. Local FBI office told Channel 9 there could be no Middle Eastern connection after a thorough investigation. (My comments: Don't trust Ricks at all!)

Presumably, the Oklahoma media would have the most interest and leverage in trying to get a satisfactory answer to the question.

They have a reporter on it talking to some of the victims survivors that have saved everything. Hope that Mom they had on keeps pressing.

Their reporting of what Ricks said was not enthusiastic! When he talks, I get the feeling we are not getting the truth! He was the head of the FBI in OKC at the time of the bombing! I am going rewatch the news on replay to catch it again!

I heard this morning on the radio that he was in Florida getting a traffic ticket in 1993 -- year of OKC bombing.

And I also think that he looks remarkably like the guy in the sketch. And, no, I don't think the guy in the sketch looks older. Good grief, it's a sketch!!! You can't determine age in a sketch!

You are right, this does indeed deserve it's own thread. It also screams CNN, MSNBC, and FOXNEWS coverage 24/7, but that won't happen.
Amazing resemblance and beyond disgusting to me that John Doe disappeared from the radar screen.
I shudder to think of the things that were covered up during the Clinton administration.

I was going to say the same thing. I have an in-law of Hispanic descent, and his face changed shape exactly like that as he gained weight. Exactly.

I can't vouch for the months, but I did hear on the radio that Pedillo received a traffic ticket in Florida in 1993 -- same year as the OKC bombing. I also heard that his incarceration was when he was a juvenile -- he was 20 in 1993, so it's likely he had been out a while.

To those of us who were watching the OKC bombing coverage live, this kind of comment doesn't hold water. CNN switched to local OKC news coverage where reporters and witnesses were discussing JD2 constantly. To say he didn't exist, or had nothing to do with the bombing is ludicrous and an outright lie IMO.
The question is why? Why have they tried so desperately to cover up JD2 for years?
Why did they withhold evidence for so long from the defense team?
What in the heck is going on here?
I am sure that you don't know the answers, neither do I, but it just really shakes me up to see these pictures!

The Oke City bombing was in April, 1995. Padilla's whereabouts during that time have not, to my knowledge, been established.
