The dirty nuke bomb plotter whose arrest last month in Chicago was announced on Monday has a rap sheet that included convictions for two murders before he was out of his teens as well as prosecutions for other serious crimes - all before he joined al Qaeda to fight against America.
When he was just 13, Abdullah al Muhajir - aka Jose Padilla - was arrested in 1983 on a robbery charge, reports ABC News.com. He was given probation.
From there Muhajir became a one man crime wave.
By the time cops caught up with him again in 1985, he was charged with and convicted of two counts of murder, aggravated battery, armed robbery, and attempted armed robbery.
Details of the would-be nuke bomber's murders were not immediately available, but the crimes took place when he was a 15-year-old street gang member in Chicago.
After serving time for murder and assault charges, Muhajir moved to Florida, but quickly found himself in trouble again, when he was convicted of aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony and discharging a firearm from a vehicle.
Despite his already lengthy criminal record, he was sentenced to just a year on probation.
A year later al Muhajir was convicted of assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. He served a jail sentence in Broward County, Fla., jail.
Muhajir dropped his given name Padilla sometime in the early 1990's while in prison, the Justice Department said Monday.

NPR is now saying that there is no evidence that this guy was ever a member of a gang in Chicago; it's all a hoax by the Bush administration to boost their popularity. Uh . . .yeah . . .right.

A big home-grown "Islamic" front organization that had strong ties with Chicago gangs was El Rukin. I bet this guy was involved with them.

Those German saboteurs that we executed in 1942 had so far only been planning their acts of sabotage, not carried them out, and two of them were U.S. citizens. We ended up not executing two of them, including one of the U.S. citizens, because they turned themselves in and cooperated. But we executed the others, including the other U.S. citizen. And the Supreme Court unanimously approved of their trial, and had no objection to the death sentences.

I saw an article on another thread here from today's Chicago Sun-Times confirming that Padilla was a member of the Latin Disciples. And his early crimes were typical of gang members. What is NPR smoking?

"Oklahoma City bombing defendant Terry Nichols cried in court Wednesday as his ex-wife testified against him... Though Lana Padilla has said publicly that she believes Nichols is not guilty of the murder...""When he was just 13, Abdullah al Muhajir - aka Jose Padilla - was arrested in 1983 on a robbery charge, reports ABC News.com"
Isn't that interesting...

I am beginning to understand why the Gov't was so eager execute McVey.
It won't be a suprise to learn when Jose Padilla has a "tragic accident" while in Federal custody.

Definitely it is something that should be looked into. Check out his whereabouts and look for links.
On another topic did you kiss the bride for me when she got back from accross the pond? Were I at the wedding it would have been a discreet and proper kiss of the bride but where you are the one delivering it for me I expect you as the new Husband to do it with emphasis.

I hope the FBI is on this! At least the ones not on the payroll of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, or that of the Boston mob.

"...convicted of two counts of murder, aggravated battery, armed robbery, and attempted armed robbery.how, pray tell, does one get convicted of two counts of murder and still be free to walk among society?
My question was: how does one convicted of 2 counts of murder get a US passport?? Mark Fuhrman can neither vote nor carry a gun - for perjury!
