Arafat threatens 'disastrous explosion'

In a speech broadcast today, Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat threatened that if Israel does not retreat from PA-ruled areas that there will be a "disastrous explosion that will impact stability of the whole world."

According to the Palestinian Authority's official news agency WAFA, in an address broadcast in Spain to an awards ceremony honoring EU Middle East envoy Miguel Moratinos, Arafat claimed that "the situation in Palestine is at the edge of explosion."

Arafat warned that if Israel does not withdraw from Palestinian held territory immediately, "enabling our people to practice their legitimate rights of establishing the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, the whole region will witness a disastrous explosion that will impact not only the region but the stability of the whole world."

Shouldn't Israeli Intelligence have picked up on something IF he had a disasterous bomb.

There has been all sorts of intelligence noise about planned mega-terror attacks in Israel. I think mega-terror is like the 9/11 attacks.

I was going to write about my suspicions regarding the next, "iminent" Al Qaeda attack, but events are moving faster than I can. Read Peggy Noonan's article from yesterday. First, earlier in the week, the broad "fasten your seatbelts" warning from some Al Qaeda source, supposedly. Then, FBI warnings of a July 4th nerve gas attack posibility in subways... from LA to Boston. They have some in Chicago too. Then... Noonan tells us of some California swami that is predicting disaster on the 10th and 11th of June, Monday and Tuesday. Now, Yasser Arafat is warning us about an "explosion."

Something is going to happen, at least it is supposed to. Perhaps this is the real thing, perhaps it is another "drill". I would like to hear any other clues, if that is the right word. All this recrimination about 9/11 will pale if we are so preoccupied as to miss all the signs of an even worse attack. Are we prepared, or are we sitting ducks? Quack?

Something big is in the wind. They know more than they are telling us. This threat is not, imo, about Israel or even about Arafat, but about the fact that all these scum are connected like glue around the world and Arafat knows something.

ACK! I just visited the thread about the northern east coast and the nuclear concerns there....I am shocked that so many are lining up to get these pills....very alarming stuff, this. I guess your explanation of how the pills work is as good if not better than any other, guess I am glad this pill and its capabilities are known....at least the thyroid gland can be saved!
