Arafat threatens 'disastrous explosion'
By THE JERUSALEM POST STAFF
In a speech broadcast today, Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat threatened that if Israel does not retreat from PA-ruled areas that there will be a "disastrous explosion that will impact stability of the whole world."
According to the Palestinian Authority's official news agency WAFA, in an address broadcast in Spain to an awards ceremony honoring EU Middle East envoy Miguel Moratinos, Arafat claimed that "the situation in Palestine is at the edge of explosion."
Arafat warned that if Israel does not withdraw from Palestinian held territory immediately, "enabling our people to practice their legitimate rights of establishing the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, the whole region will witness a disastrous explosion that will impact not only the region but the stability of the whole world."

Arafat was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize a few tears ago. Boy, do those bums know a peace-maker, or what?

I'm guessing it's literal and there is nothing Isreal or the US can do to stop it. It's going to happen soon and all hell is gonna break loose. We may see WMD used in Isreal before Kashmir.

He's directly implicated himself om the next homicide bombing.
The Israeli response should be:
We know exactly where you are at all times, Yasser.
The next explosion, if it comes, will be followed by another within 5 minutes.
That will be the one that spreads your guts all over the countryside.

It would have to be a very small nuke. After all, remember that the Palestinians want to occupy Israel, not make it uninhabitable for a few millenia.

He doesn't say anything about where an explosion will occur. A nuke explosion anywhere would make the world 'unstable.'
What if they blew one in the Saudi desert and then said we have more?

Hopefully this "disastrous explosion" is Arafats head absorbing something moving with a very high velocity.
That's what I'm thinking - maybe a self-fulfilling prophecy where Arafat knows his head is going to explode on the end of an IDF hollow point. His illusion of grandeur is that this will "change the world". Poor deluded Yassar. . .

Arafathead was fat, dumb, and happy when the Xlintoon was in office because he showed up in the white house on average of once a month and felt important.
Bush has too much character to associate with murdering terrorists, so Arafathead is acting up because he has nothign else important to do.
The Nobel PEACE prize should be taken away from him.

Someone call Vince McMahon. Sharon is going to infringe on his "WWF Smackdown" trademark.
