I'd like to bring everyone up to date on what I've learned regarding the lawsuit brought by the Washington Post and Los Angeles Times. Based on a message from Jim Robinson and the legal team two days ago, the settlement discussions in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals have been successful thus far, and the case has now been sent back to District Judge Margaret Morrow for entry of a final order.

This will be a settlement that we can all live with. Our gratitude to Jim Robinson for standing tall for the First Amendment, and to the legal team for fighting a David vs. Goliath fight to a draw. Now the time has come to pay the bills.

Please give, and give generously.
