President Bush and First Lady Laura headed to the United States Military Academy at West Point to give the Commencement Speech. In this bicentennial graduation, Bush told West Point graduates that they must protect and preserve American freedom at a time when terrorism puts it in jeopardy. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I am convinced there are a lot of DU seminar freepers. Have you noticed that no sooner is a negative thread posted for Bush that you get almost immediately all these posters with the links to articles supporting the main thread. I suggest that they are plants to get the Bush backers all a tweeter. Either We save our energy and quit arguing with these fools or we better unite and freep one another so as to blast them . I have also noticed that some of these guys or gals will continue writing you thru email if you happen to communicate with them like that or continue via the thread and then as if they were in a 9-5 job you don't ever hear from them again. Any thoughts or opinions?

That last photo in #13 is wonderful of Laura. I want that suit!

I was thinking the same thing! It is so neat with that wonderful face-framing collar. And the over sized top stitching down the sleeves is such a neat touch! It gives the suit a playful character!

When will they learn W isn't the enemy, and support him and focus their attention on the real enemy?

When hell freezes over.!!

Oh really? How big are these prizes? Want to hear where I went tonight? I walked on the VERY same ground our President has walked on

Well, I once slept on that ground. While playing a gig at the officer's club, the manager let us pitch our tents in the woods behind the club. It's an awesome place to visit.

Amen, Kayak - am just now catching up on the dose. Computer problems again til just now.

The difference is today that Hillary's minions RUN the press now. And no matter what anybody tells you - they are full blown anti-American traitors - most of them Communists. Some of them feminazi's. All of them bereft of any moral anchor whatsoever other than what they decide is "right" or "wrong" (according to THEIR priorities - not according to any moral absolute. Kayak - to me it is total insanity because their spewing of the vitriol does nothing but egg on the enemies who want us all dead - or dead poor!

Francis Schaeffer called it "Escape from Reason". Of all the terrible messes we have lived through recently, what I see is a total loss of reason, like rintense said, of common sense. And, if you ever studied all the communistic or totalitarian nations in the 20th century, every one of them had this quality: an insanity about them.

They still do - wherever totalitarianism and/or anti-God (the One True God) extremism dominates a country's government.....reason, good sense, truth cannot survive.

It IS a spiritual battle primarily because for the past eight years this country was taken over by the insanely criminal Clinton gang. Think Caligula and the Godfather all wrapped into one.

That pure evil is still with us = but it will not triumph - even if it does cause great trouble and sorrow.

So, your urgency for prayer is very well stated and quite important. And, thank GOD, no matter how crazy, insane, or evil our times become, if we align ourselves with the One who is the same, today, tomorrow, and forever, we know that He will not fail us or those for whom we pray - even if we cannot see the effects of the payers visibly.

I am only awake long enough for one more post - To the Psalm!

Can you buy Ro-tel brand canned tomatoes and chiles where you are?

Is that what rintense uses in the soup? No wonder it is hot! I used some once to make my bean soup recipe and I couldn't even eat the stuff it was so spicy hot! Sir SuziQ LOVED it! If something doesn't make his nose run, it is not hot enough!! We'll go to a Thai restaurant and he'll order the 5 star stuff and ask them to heat it up some! Yowsers!

I'll just use some diced tomatos and add some diced canned green chiles. That ought to work fine. It works very well in the bean soup; not too spicy, just right!

This one is Heavy.

Psalm 10

A Song of Confidence in God's Triumph over Evil

1 Why do You stand afar off, O LORD?
        Why do You hide in times of trouble?
        2The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor;
        Let them be caught in the plots which they have devised.

        3For the wicked boasts of his heart's desire;
        He blesses the greedy and renounces the LORD.
        4The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God;
        God is in none of his thoughts.

        5His ways are always prospering;
        Your judgments are far above, out of his sight;
        As for all his enemies, he sneers at them.
        6He has said in his heart, "I shall not be moved;
        I shall never be in adversity."
        7His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and oppression;
        Under his tongue is trouble and iniquity.

        8He sits in the lurking places of the villages;
        In the secret places he murders the innocent;
        His eyes are secretly fixed on the helpless.
        9He lies in wait secretly, as a lion in his den;
        He lies in wait to catch the poor;
        He catches the poor when he draws him into his net.
        10So he crouches, he lies low,
        That the helpless may fall by his strength.
        11He has said in his heart,
        "God has forgotten;
        He hides His face;
        He will never see."

        12Arise, O LORD!
        O God, lift up Your hand!
        Do not forget the humble.
        13Why do the wicked renounce God?
        He has said in his heart,
        "You will not require an account."

        14But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief,
        To repay it by Your hand.
        The helpless commits himself to You;
        You are the helper of the fatherless.
        15Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man;
        Seek out his wickedness until You find none.

        16The LORD is King forever and ever;
        The nations have perished out of His land.
        17LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble;
        You will prepare their heart;
        You will cause Your ear to hear,
        18To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed,
        That the man of the earth may oppress no more.

Don't be worried about the people here on FR who bash our President. Here is what I see as the reason for what we see here on FR. (Probably another long rant, so excuse me)

During the time of Ronald Reagan we didn't have the internet, we only had the mainstream news, and some cable channels. We still had 2%rs back then, but they didn't have access to the Internet and 24-hour cable news, but they were there, I remember them very well.

In today’s world they have the internet to share their doomsday outlook and they gather like flies on a turd on the internet. This is a luxury they have never had before, but it also has led to their destruction. Because most of us would agree with their pure ideology when it's spoken in a rehearsed fashion. But when you mingle with these miserable souls you realize that they want things only one way, AND THAT’S THEIR WAY. Most of us understand that we can't have it our way all the time and compromise is an acceptable way to move forward. But these Bush Bashers we see today will never accept that idea, they would rather cannibalize the Republican Party before they would ever compromise. These people brought us Bill Clinton and never forget that.

The third party groups will never again be as powerful as they were because reasonable people that make up the majority of Americans don't like being around such sour, negative people. Their numbers have been declining every year since 1992 and they will continue to decline. So don't let them bother you, in fact let them spew their hatred loudly, because the more they do, the more they are disliked and ignored.

They make a good argument about the value of our Constitution and they come across as pure patriots, but the fact is, this country is for all of the people and our president is the president for all of the people and if they can't understand that, then they know ABSOLUTELY nothing about the constitution
