May 26, 2002 -- Investigators believe Chandra Levy was lured to her death by someone she knew or slain by a predator who methodically stalked her, police sources said yesterday.
Evidence collected at the spot where her remains were found points away from her being killed in a random attack while she was jogging, the sources said.

I doubt that Condit actually did any of the dirty deed. I think he let his henchmen handle it. That way, when asked by police, Condit could truthfully say, he didn't know where she was. He didn't know how she died. He didn't know where the body was. I think he purposefully didn't want to know certain details.

In it, Chief Ramsey is quoted as saying that her body was
"found at the bottom underneath about a foot of
underbrush and foliage.." indicating she was placed, rather than rolled, there.I wish they would make up their mind. One report says parts
of her body have been scattered all over a large area, and now her body is found
underneath a foot of underbrush? Oh I know animals. But then it wouldn't
still be under a foot of underbrush now would it?

He on the run again, just like May 17th when the park search started, the Levy's came to town looking for him and police had Chandra's diary. I'd check the sandra Lucas Apartment in Luray, VA.
Run, Gary, Run!

"Large area" turned out to be 30 square yards: a nice living room size.

I found it while I was surfing the net! Went to google and put in Chandra Levy, fingerprints and apartment. Not sure which combination brought that up. Posted by a woman in Florida is all I remember. It did give her name, but I don't recall it.

I can't say that the points cmpletely rule out 1)...but they make 1) less likely, imo. In fact I'd say, least likely from what we have left to work with.
By the way... does 2) include Condit or some other sociopath?

He knew exactly where the body was. That's why he ran on May 17th, when the police starting searching the park. Early reports of found bones and tennis shoes, must have scared him sh**less on the morning of the 17th.
He thought the jig was up, but lucked out. The jig is now up.

OK folks! What do we know about the time factor? Someone got a list?
I think one of the most important things is that NO ONE was looking for her for days. This gave the culprit plenty of time to dispose of the body, clean up any loose ends, etc. I want to know what the Condits' night & day schedules were not only on the first but until she was reported missing.
To: hoosiermama
I pick this one.
2a)was a victim of a sociopath with more all the free time than the of a Congressman.

#2 is another sciopath.
I think if we delete all 5 of these it only leaves one conclusion. The Condits. Then we have to determine who did it and if/or who was the accomplice?
To: hoosiermama
She wasn't moved. It she had been all the personal stuff (ring sunglasses, extra clothes, walkman) would be somewhere else. I believe the police will find blood on the scene.
To: Spunky
Yes, I believe you a correct! It's PROVING that he was "free" during this time. From her leaving the gym, till when they started the search for the body!
To: hoosiermama
I just want to add something. It was mentioned that the security video was erased 2-3 days later, at about the same time that people are starting to ask where is she. In fact, her parent's (I think it was the parent's) wanted the landlord to go into the apartment and check it out. But the landlord refused saying that was illegal. The landlord can do so, legally if they think something may be wrong, and I would think what with her parent's calling and asking him to do so, that he 'should' have done it. Also the landlord had tried to get a hold of her to find out her final details on leaving, and after not getting any answer he sent an email.....

Good ET! Now is it also true that Condit did NOT try to call her during this time; which is inconsistant with his previous patterns?
To: Spunky
The time on the email was 10:45 a.m. but the parents did not read it until about 7:30 p.m.. On CNN the mother said the email was very general, generic almost and forwarded.

Some of the better things we know about the Condits:
Thanks to our beloved California FReepers, Condit (D) is out of a job. The two C kids quit their jobs. Gray Davis cut Condit loose. Condit's Washington condo was sold to pay attorney fees. His resume isn't going to look so good ... and ... AND ... the Levy's WILL NOT QUIT!

Sandra Lucas was a full time staff and TV apologist to Condit in CA. During the big Luray switch hunt last summer, I looked up every name I could associate with Condit. the only one that came up was a Sandra Lucas at an apartment about a quater mile from McDonalds. I called her. We had a strange conversation. She didn't to to want me to hang up without her knowing why I was asking questions about Sandra. She said she wasn't Sandra and Sandra had moved.
Sandra Lucas could also be the "cleanup crew" mentioned in the tablod article in our timeline. The apartment backs up to the Evergreen Cemetary.
Interesting when you look at the voting records below, you will notice that a congressman Lucas from Gary's old district in OK, also did not vote on the day of Gary's run, although he did the day before.
Probably all just my imagination!
