May 19, 2002 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 05/19/2002 1:57:31 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Fresno Central Valley Tailgate Party and Rally

Join us for a big Friday night Support our Troops Rally followed by a Saturday Tailgate Party and pot-luck at Woodward Park in Fresno on July 12th and 13th. We're hoping that as many of our California FReepers as possible can join us and perhaps some from further away. Come to California, the land of milk & honey and fruits & nuts, rally and party with us, then stay a few days to visit Yosemite or Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks. Bring the whole family.

Please RSVP by FReepmail to JustAmy or Mama_Bear

Thank you,

Jim Robinson
On behalf of the Fresno/Central Valley Chapter

The entrance to Sequoia/Kings Canyon parks is 65 miles east of Fresno on highway 180. Yosemite is 90 miles north of Fresno on highway 41. It's a two hour drive to Sequoia/Kings Canyon and three hours to Yosemite. Both drives are filled with spectacular scenery

yeah, so our football team sucks :o(

But it's baseball season and SJSU is the only WAC team to hang 2 losses on #1 in the nation Rice who just handed fresno another sweep... and there's that little ol' SWEEP we handed fresno...

Now who's that crazy old guy in the stands at Beiden Stadium that heckles like crazy at all the games....

dunno If I'll be at the tailgate, but I might link it up with a trip to see the big trees.

SJSU #22 in the nation...GO SPARTANS ;o)
