A 5-year-old Rancho Cordova girl will return to kindergarten at the Capital Christian School after being expelled last week because administrators discovered her mother works as a nude dancer.
Christina Silvas, 24, agreed to stop working at Gold Club Centerfolds off Highway 50 for at least the next three weeks so her daughter can graduate from kindergarten and attend the end-of-the-year pool party she had been looking forward to.

If you are a 'Christian' THESE are in YOUR Book!
Do you believe them?
Do you FOLLOW them?!
2 Timothy 4:3
3. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
Galatians 5:19-21
19. The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
20. idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
21. and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Ephesians 4:22-32
22. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
23. to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
24. and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
25. Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body.
26. "In your anger do not sin" : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
27. and do not give the devil a foothold.
28. He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.
29. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
30. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
32. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Ephesians 5:1-6
1. Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children
2. and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
3. But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people.
4. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.5. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person--such a man is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
Colossians 3:1-8
1. Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
2. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
3. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
4. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
5. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
6. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
7. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.
8. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.
1 Timothy 4:11. The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
1 Timothy 4:16
16. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
1 Timothy 6:20-21
20. Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge,
21. which some have professed and in so doing have wandered from the faith. Grace be with you.
Titus 1:9-16
9. He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.
10. For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision group.
11. They must be silenced, because they are ruining whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach--and that for the sake of dishonest gain.
12. Even one of their own prophets has said, "Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons."
13. This testimony is true. Therefore, rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith
14. and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the commands of those who reject the truth.
15. To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.
16. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
Hebrews 2:1-3
1. We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.
2. For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,
3. how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.
How was it 'found out' that this was this mother's occupation?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....me thinks another kindergartners daddy saw her dancing. So who is better than whom, and why is it anyones concern.
I'm starting to suffer from WWJD fatigue. Can anyone point out to me where exactly in the Bible Christians are instructed or cautioned to consider WWJD before acting? It's not in there. As humans, we are incapable of doing half the things Jesus did, so it's a moot point to begin with. WWJD is a marketing fad. That's it. The Bible is clear on how Christians ought to act.
What about, DO NOT JUDGE.
Here's what I said: "She clearly understood that her choice was conflictive, but she's an EXHIBITIONIST,-- and risk-takers, by nature, enjoy a game of truth or consequences.
She was kicked out of the school-- she lied, she knew she lied, she preferred the lie, it was thrilling to lie, it was rewarding to lie, it was all about the lie, and never about the truth, until she was forced to admit it. Now there are consequences-- how does this illusrate your point, if I make a point that you disagree with?
Why is it your concern that anyone is concerned about someone's concern, that someone else wasn't concerned until someone else was concerned that someone else wasn't concerned about someone else? :-) TaRaRABoomDeAy-- Gore's a sore-loser everyday!
Dear 1234, if you "don't have an opinion yet" and you don't understand the "morality of this much talked about 'contract'," then unfortunately, you don't have a clue about Christianity, either. I'll pray for you and I sincerely mean that.
Or a gun store?
I don't have any $100 bills to drag through trailer parks, so I guess not. I was being a little tongue and cheek there, but she is a hottie (IMO) and I am single. I guess I shouldn't be silly first thing in the morning.

I suppose what you are referring to is the way Jesus' disciples initially hindered parents from bringing children to Jesus for the purpose of having him bless them (Matthew 19:13-15, Mark 10:13-16, Luke 18:15-17). This was far from a "command," and it is disingenuous to suggest that hindering children from Jesus' personal hands is akin to the expulsion of a child whose mother freely chose to follow a non-Christian path.
Funny that a stripper has more understanding of the principles of faith... than the preachers do... Like Jesus said to the "church" leaders of His day, scribes, pharisees, saducees and priests... "Whores and drug abusers will enter MY Father's kingdom BEFORE you ever will..."
I have no idea where you got "drug abusers." Here is the actual passage, this one from the New American Standard Version:
31 "Which of the two did the will of his father?" They said, "The first." Jesus said to them, "Truly I say to you that (28) the tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the kingdom of God before you. 32 "For John came to you in the way of righteousness and you did not believe him; but (29) the tax collectors and prostitutes did believe him; and you, seeing this, did not even feel remorse afterward so as to believe him.
I don't know whether you hold people from the IRS in the same esteem as smack addicts, but them's the facts.
It's interesting how you cited a scripture that was first and foremost about not living up to sworn obligations. See if you can grasp what I mean when I show you what precluded Jesus' statement about the harlots and drug abusers...uh, tax collectors:
28 "But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, 'Son, go work today in the (27) vineyard.'
29 "And he answered, 'I will not'; but afterward he regretted it and went.
30 "The man came to the second and said the same thing; and he answered, 'I will, sir'; but he did not go.
Who said, "I will," but did not, in this situation?
Funny how HIS words still ring true... while the apologists for the phonies, go on about how this is NO big deal... just like they did the sexual molesters in another Big Christian Denomination.
You are obviously frothing at the mouth as you write this, but no amount of anger is an excuse for such a ridiculous simile. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.
Offending "little ones" is but a precursor behavior to a damnation so severe, that being fitted with a millstone, and thrown into the sea, would be a better choice of behaviors for the offenders, according to Jesus.
"Offending little ones"? What translation are you using that says "offending?" Every one that I have found says that the millstone treatment would be better for those that "[cause] one of these little ones who believe in me to sin..."
As has been mentioned many times by myself and others in this and other threads on this situation, while there is no specific condemnation against dancing -- nude or otherwise -- in the scriptures, the fact remains that what Silvas did was for the exclusive purpose of inciting lust, which is something that Jesus DID specifically warn his disciples about. So it is possible she was leading others to sin.
By your own harsh standards, Ms. Silvas not only is a hot number, she would just get hotter.
Nice additions to the referenced text, like these, would help make understanding the Savior so much easier for pharisees. What we need is a NEW bible that makes better sense to religious folks.
Jesus obviously could not have meant children as in "children of sinners" only holy children of holy parents, who were never guilty of sinning... You know, parents like yours?
