A 5-year-old Rancho Cordova girl will return to kindergarten at the Capital Christian School after being expelled last week because administrators discovered her mother works as a nude dancer.
Christina Silvas, 24, agreed to stop working at Gold Club Centerfolds off Highway 50 for at least the next three weeks so her daughter can graduate from kindergarten and attend the end-of-the-year pool party she had been looking forward to.

I don't get drunk, but when I dance I look drunk!
Is that you, Bubba?
However, the wise know what is right and wrong.
What century did you just transport yourself from. In 2002 in places like California that is what school costs.
Even Christ, in anger, threw the money-changers from the temple. The church group has a code of conduct to uphold-- and EVERYONE is accountable. Remember how your teacher punished the whole class, when there was an infraction? You didn't think it was fair-- but it worked. Public schools do the same thing with families at times-- suspension can punish the family more than the kid, who thinks he's getting an extra vacation-- and the way this is being handled, it's likely Mom didn't say to daughter she's expelled because of Mommy's stripping, but told her they don't like Mommy's job. The school probably said NOTHING to daughter, just handed her pink slip to her mother.
Don't you just hate it when someone trangsresses your own personal moral code and gets away with it?
Maybe you and the mom see it that way. I would expect the Church leaders are feeling transgressed, themselves-- look, they're going to compromise with a person who has no intention of making a full, and complete repentence. "Go they way, AND SIN NO MORE." Thankfully, we don't have to be the judge, but the mom said she wasn't proud of her job-- are you saying that her own feelings of guilt are the result of someothers' trangression? The woman was conflicted from day 1. What's with people who feel transgressed by others, when they really do it to themselves?
Besides, what sin did this woman commit?
Sorry-- I won't look THERE. But I think the administrator has his bases covered, because there must've been some understanding that THIS woman wasn't going to get upset about publicity. That she wanted a quiet weekend w/o the media, does not disallow the Pastor from taking the opportunity to teach his flock.
She did it for her daughter.
Oh wait! I think it's already been made. I forgot about "Striptease". I'll have to look into this further.
The woman isn't being stoned-- she was asked to repent of the activity that violates her church/school contract. The stoning will come later-- if she doesn't repent. It could be difficult to find someone without sin to cast it, but God-willing, (s)he'll do it. ;-)
No wonder liberals can accuse, accurately, conservatives as being sanctimonious busy bodies who want nothing more than to censor the private lives of everyone else.
She didn't perform in the temple--the money changers did.
