Thank you so very much for your encouragement! The Downside Legacy was given to Senate during Impeachment and again to the House when the Cox/Dicks committee report was released. I'm in the process of converting it to book format for posterity. It is online in a rough notecard type format for use by Freepers and Lurkers in research and analysis.

Goebbels once said that there is no lie so stupid that after constant repetition it won't be believed.

Look at Rather and the Rats in 1992 when the mantra was "worst economy in 50 years", "Bush cooked the books", "Yatta!".

Before the end of the year (but after the November election), Dems were saying that things weren't as bad as they seemed. The numbers weren't "cooked" to appear to be better.

"It's the economy, stupid!" - Bill Clinton campaign slogan

"Have you ever had the feeling that you're being cheated?" - Johnny "Rotten" Lydon at his 'final' Sex Pistols concert

Thank you for the quote ! " THE CHARGE OF THE LIGHT BRIGADE " has been one of my all time favorite poems, since I was 10 years old and had to memorize and recite it in class.

Yes, it is apt , even though there are many more than 600 of us.

As I said on another thread, I think George W. Bush should be dubbed "The Second Teflon President," since nothing sticks to him either.

We might be able to come up with a better analogy for President Bush. All of the Duhmocrats efforts are like spitting against the wind (or a really strong fan); it comes back to hit them.

There's also a line about candidates who fling mud may find themselves getting dirtier as a result.

It was stunning, today ! It was as though FR had been writing the scripts for talk radio

If this was a result of FR then we had a very successful FREEP today.

FOX Report says that the Dems are in full retreat on this issue and that the Republicans are now claiming that the DNC was attempting to unfairly politicize the 9/11 attack. Shame on Hillary Clinton.

I have been thinking all day that this has that familiar lower than low hitlery stench. It reeks of klinton MO. The goal-blame 9/11 on Bush. Outrageous? Not to them. Their entire MO is to shock with the absurd and then back it up until we, the little people without working brain cells, rote learn the buzz words.

They are in such deep trouble I could almost laugh. Really. Because the bottom line in all of this is that prior to 9/11, it was a matter of determining which of the thousands of pieces of info were credible and connected. Our BRILLIANT President and his team, PRIOR to 9/11 were already formulating, in fact, had formulated a plan to take out Al Qaida and Osama the desert coward.

And what did billy klinton do during all the deaths, AMERICAN deaths attributable to Osama the pig? Well......he BOMBED and aspirin factory, a few camels, I suppose, and then REFUSED....

YES

Bill and hitlery klinton REFUSED to take custody of OSAMA BIN LADEN when that killer was offered to the United States by SUDAN, who wanted to get rid of him. WHY? Because bill and hill did not want to get enmeshed in the controversy would follow nailing terrorists, according to dick morris.

IF BILL KLINTON HAS TAKEN CUSTODY OF OSAMA INSTEAD OF REFUSING TO DO SO>>>>>THERE WOULD BE A WHOLE LOT OF AMERICANS WHO ARE NOW DEAD living their normal lives. Yep.

Bill and hillary klinton were STUPID and their STUPIDITY and SELFISHNESS and COWARDICE and UNWILLINGNESS to upset any SAUDIS who might give um under the table cash, caused them to give OSAMA THE FREE RIDE HE NEEDED TO KILL THOUSANDS OF AMERICANS.

You're exactly right. The airhead pretty-boy is as close to the soulless skirt-chaser as the Democrats can get.

All those years backing sexless, mud-hens like Stevenson, McGovern and Mondale, when all they had to do is run a greasy game show host!! Who knew? But, of course, there was only one Clinton. (thank God)

Many FREEPERS are well known and constant callers , into many talk radio shows ; however, I think that many of the nonFREEER callers / populace have caught on to what is being pulled by the Dems, and aren't at all happy about it. Still and all, yes , it was an excellant FREEP today . : - )

I don't know why most people bother with them anymore, especially if the have a computer...

Even the papers' people who call soliciting subscriptions laugh & agree when I tell them "I'm getting more on the 'net, and it's free..."

The sooner the "majority" switches to unfiltered news sources, the sooner power will shift back to where it belongs (WE, THE PEOPLE.)

Amen, and let it be so. I do think the axis is shifting away from centralized news/opinion sources.

Golly, the Democrats, despite their infinite intellectual capabilities, didn't realize that accusing President Bush of permitting the attacks to occur, and thereby permitting 3000 Americans to be murdered, would be both an indefensible and unpopular position. I guess moronic Cynthia McKinney has a bigger following among her colleagues than we realized. So, today is another day when Democrats try to attract votes by attacking the President, rather than by developing and presenting viable and effective policies. No party can continue like that forever, and I hope, therefore, that the disappearance of the Democrats will occur sooner rather than later.

Here is an illustrated image of what's gonna happen here.......hehehehe........

This is just one example that the dims shoot from the hip when they
think they've got something that will diminish President Bush.

And with each attack, the DIMocRATS lose more credibility.
It should be an interesting election come November!

MOST WELCOME.

I think it was well and good to give such to congress. But I've increasingly come to believe that the vast majority of them are sold out to very special interests or were bought lock stock and barrel ahead of time. I think the impeachment process was ample proof of that.

It seems to me only a fairly vast grass roots awareness stands much chance of influencing the country much at all. . . and that is a consciousness raising of those who are in the middle. The dyed-in-the-wool BILLDO AND SHRILLERY fans are not going to change their minds a bit if it threatens their pleasures or rebellions. . . or even just clashes with their sensibilities.

Anyway--THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO.

If you have no interest in spreading the CD's more broadly, certainly no one else will!
