There was a report on Brit Hume's Special Report program detailing Democratic accusations of Bush Administration midhandlement of the situation prior to 9/11, after the report mentioned yesterday. They had clips of Gephardt and Daschle's response to it, but then said that later in the day, Bob Graham and Joe Lieberman had moved away from accusations of mishandlement.

And by half of the so-called conservatives posting here.
The feeding frenzy here appears to be just as bad, if not worse, than it is in the media.
And this is supposed to be the conservative "home field".

There is not much we can do about the liberals but we can sure as hell keep the "Faux conservatives" on this site from having the field to themselves unopposed and unanswered.

RE: 64.
Thanks for the insightful article.

I think these "accusations" MAY blow up in the faces of the RATs and their buddies in the leftist media just like ENRON did. DOn't forget how orgasimic the media was after the ENRON stuff broke in early January. You would have thought we were going to have another August 1974 all over again with Pres Bush going on a helicopter on south lawn of the White House and waving his "w" sign in the air ala Nixon. The Enron stuiff died soon after word when the DemoRats realized that their hands were a heck of lot more massy than Bush's were with ENRON funny stuff. Not to mention the Global Crossing stufff, etc.

The situation is that Clinton's trashing of the U.S.'s intelligence operations amounted to crapping all over everything and now the Democrats are excoriating Bush for not getting out the AirWick soon enough.

PS: When I FIRST saw daschle talking about this today, my VERY first thought was to recall his lying innuendo regarding the "Secret government"/ backup government plan in the worst conceivable scenario/disaster. My first words today was "You're lyin' again, aren't ya?"Exactly.
Last summer, before 9/11, Fort Rucker, AL, was placed on a higher alert. Some remote gates were closed, and there seemed to be more of an MP presence. This is just one example that the dims shoot from the hip when they think they've got something that will diminish President Bush.

LOL MISHANDLING. As I said on another thread, I think George W. Bush should be dubbed "The Second Teflon President," since nothing sticks to him either.

It was stunning, today ! It was as though FR had been writing the scripts for talk radio ; callers and hosts alike. We know that Brit Hume reads FR ( or has someone doing it ) and boy was that true today. Same with my local radio show and Sean Hannity. "...Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon in front of them, Volley'd & thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot & shell, Boldly they rode & well, Into the jaws of Death, Into the mouth of Hell.
Rode the six hundred."
Credit due: Alfred Tennyson.
Will concede that there are more than six hundred now, but they are equally brave...

Every damn time I get a little miffed at President Bush, corporate farm welfare for instance, the democrats get me so pissed off, it becomes a pimple on an elephants ass.
The rats have gone way over the line. Bush should slam them with both barrels. The rats in Congress sat by for a decade while American soldiers and civilians became plinking material for the terrorist hordes. Absofreakinglutely disgraceful.
The rats declawed the FBI and CIA, opened the borders, bitched about tribunals, took away the profiling tool from law enforcement and now this?
To paraphrase an old poster, my only goal in this election is to
CRUSH LIBERALS AND DEMOCRATS OF ALL FLAVORS
To: Pyro7480
I'm tired of democrat leaders saying they aren't informed. They have used that paltry excuse throughout President Bush's distinguished tenure. First it was the democrat claim that there is a shadow government that they didn't know about to Bush's secret government. Now this.
What a bunch of blooming lunatic imbeciles. Maybe they had better learn how to read and listen before they start their blithering braying.

Thanks, ordering mine now.

DUh was sending their posters directly to our threads. Must be a morale blow to them to hear their leaders recant, back off, and generally deflate. Pffffffffffffttttt.....
Not unlike their supreme leader, the bent one.

Just when I think I can't be more disgusted with the Democrats, they manage to top their last sleazy routine. They are so morally bankrupt they automatically assume other people operate from the same ethics challenged center they do. It is so typical of Daschle/Gephardt to call a press conference, deliberately drop plenty of innuendo, then retreat to let the media fan the flames. We can bet they won't have a press conference announcing they were wrong. Good for the 'Pubs. There is a significant "credibility gap" in the dims' "leadership". Works for me.

It looks kind of like Dems playing the role of the leprose Scottish father of the Brus in Braveheart. 'I'll order it supported in our lands to the north and opposed in our lands to the south..'

The stupid dems probably did a poll within 5 minutes of the first round of their targeted attacks today and when the results came in, they surmised that pointing their ridiculous, dirty, lying fingers at GWB wouldn't fare well for them after all. I believe that continued prayer for GWB helps alot. The dems are pitiful and have absolutely no shame. Yes. Pray for President Bush and the USA.

Thanks for the nice reply above. I force myself to watch hardball and cnn and the enemy for at least 10 minutes each a nite to keep abreast of what they and their minions are doing. I think it is a big mistake to limit incomiing to Fox and our guys only,,it is only by knowing what they are doing that we can counter it and I do believe it is highly effective to counter and do it fast. It is hard to believe that the people may maintain trust in the President,,I guess I quit trusting the American people during the last presidential term, I could never believe they got so taken. It still astounds me. This webstie keeps me sane everytime some hullabaloo like today leaves me thinking is the entire world insane but me.

To defuse the news cycle, it is necessary to put the fear factor in play.
Call the ADVERTISERS on news programs. Call the local affiliates of the networks.
Call GE, DISNEY, and Time-Warner, particularly if you are a shareholder.
Cancel newspaper and magazine subscriptions.
Call your local Rat HQ and tell them you are calling all the unions.
Call the unions and if you are a member ask them what in the heck they are doing supporting the Rats?
Call Congress and swamp them with complaints.
But make SURE the media gets the smack-down over this. It is despicable.
To: rabidone
Your comment makes no sense to me. Have another toke, and call back.
To: Pyro7480
Don't Dashole and Little Dickie Gephardt READ the intelligence reports provided to them???
Or did they simply develop another convenient case of ClintonAmnesia?
Democraps have sunk so low now... they have to look UP to see whale sh!t.
To: Pyro7480
The report also mentioned that Congressional committees had the same information, going against Democratic statements that they weren't informed.
So they lied? Shocker.
