Prayer Request-My Sister's Terminal Lung Disease

My sister was diagnosed with a rare lung disease on Friday, Interstatial Lung Disease. The prognosis is terminal. She is only 29 and in otherwise good health.
Appearantly, an infection, the nature of which is unknown, is producing a constant state of pneumonia. Since the doctors don't know the nature of the infection, they can not stop it. It is causing scar tissue to form all throughout the lungs. Scar tissue isn't very elastic and will not permit oxygen to travel from the lungs to the blood.
End result is that the doctor said in 1 to 2 years she will suffocate.
Requesting prayers for her and any medical info that could be of help/leads in stopping this infection before it ruins the remaining lung tissue.

My mom died 11-11 also, from emphysema, and complications from it. It is tough, I saw it coming, so did she, but the flesh wouldn't let her go for years. It is a release in a way, but the vision will not fade.

If it is Gods will, Sarah will
soon have a glorious return to the Father. Her family will find comfort in her passing, and have a reason for thanks, that her long struggle will soon end. If out of hardship, beautiful things are formed, your sister is valuable beyond diamonds.
My sympathies are with you griffin, my mom died of similar problems on the 11th, she is now resting in glory, but we left behind are still saddened. Peace be unto you, hang on to your family, they will be your blessing.

My thoughts, prayers, and hopes go out to your sister and to all of her friends and family. May God release her from the bonds of mortal existence and bring her into everlasting life and joy. May those who love her know that she will be infinitely better off and find peace in knowing that she will know first hand the meaning of His love.
May this day allow you to find blessings and goodness in your lives, and remember that no matter how hard a task He gives you, He never gives you more than you can handle. My prayers are with all of you.

I was wondering about Sarah only a couple of days ago, and I'm very sorry to hear that it's reached this point.
My prayers go out for Sarah, for you, and for your entire family. God's peace and love are with you all, even (especially?) now.
Godspeed, Sarah.

Prayers on the way. Faith is for those who believe they can bless the world and find cures.

Dear griffin,
First, my prayers for your sister! May God comfort her and heal her!
Second, a friend of ours recently passed away from cancer that sounds very similar. She would get pneumonia over and over and not seem to get over it. They determined it was something to do with asbestos. Had they caught it in time, they said they may have been able to treat it. Apparently there is a new chemo that is radical but apparently has a good success rate when caught early on. They wash the outside of the lungs to kill the cancer that is causing the pneumonia to occur.

Although I have no information to give you on your sister's horrific disease, you can be assured that she, as well as all members of your family, will be remembered in my prayers.
God bless,

I haven't scrolled down to read any of the comments but suffice it to say that their vast amount is testimony to the horror elicited upon reading your post. Yes, I will pray. God help your sister and your family.
