"to be paid $50 million a year to become "the next Oprah Winfrey,""
Hell, for $50 million a year I'd become a fat, big-mouthed woman too.

On the contrary, I think this is exactly what NBC should do - give the Slug a talk show. It will bomb, big-time IMHO. Let the Clintonites have their little love-fest. No one else will watch, beyond initial curiosity.
Billy-boy is so sickening the audience will evaporate and sponsors will dwindle rapidly. Have at it, NBC. I'll watch NBC shows even less than I do now, which is practically none!!

WHAT DO WE HAVE TO DO, TO GET RID OF THESE PEOPLE? I'm with you. I'm at a loss for what we can do to make him SHUT UP.
If he didn't get the money, he would STILL take the show; you know that! It's not the money with him; it's the fact time!

A couple of days ago, Hannity was discussing a Drudge rumor that Clinton was also talking with CBS do the 'morning show' after Bryant departs.
Never saw it posted on Drudge however...

I suspect that the show will be like that old SNL skit, with a character playing William Shatner ( the host ), who, while interviewing a guest, would pull out the inevitable, " Well, maybe it will help if we talk about for a bit. "

"The Toon" was never on time for any meeting or fundraser.
Seems hard to believe he could ever do a daily show which MUST start at one time and MUST stop at another.
I kind of hope he tries ;-)

I think it's an EXCELLENT idea! Whoever decides to sponsor his little self-stroking will be filing bankruptcy within 30 days! Remember how many companies back-peddled from him when Pardon-Gate broke?
Can you imagine the fun we can have when there are commercials on his show: Jergan's Hand Creme, or Viagra, or Penzoil, or Victoria's Secret, or Hav-a-Tampa...?

Bill Clinton hosting a TV talk show would be a flop and the execs in the industry know it, thus the comment "he won't want to be a talk show host after he sees all that is involved". An attempt at hosting a talk show may be what this #&^#^&% needs to get the message, WE DON'T LIKE YOU BILL, YOU ARE SLIME...........GO AWAY.

Can you imagine the Freeping opportunities for those in hte studio audience? Of course they would have bigtime security (Secret Service) for that, but there should still be opportunities. Like what the Lefties did to Rush Limbaugh when he guest-hosted the Pat Sajak show several years ago. And yes, people, especially the guests, would get tired of him always dominating the conversations. That self-absorbed blow-hard!!
Come to think of it, "blow-hard" really is an appropriate description of Clinton.

Well, for starters, a show has to have sponsors: Who do you think will sponsor Slick Willie?
After the first million letters, that is?

If he signs with NBC, does that mean that Leno can't use Clinton as a foil for his nightly monologue?? I watched and laughed out loud during Tuesday night's 10th anniversary show when Leno said Clinton was responsible for his (Leno's) success. Clinton provided Jay with a constant new source of comic material with his antics, especially after the "I did not have sex with that woman" episode.

Here's how the cat reads it. Scumbag is greedy for money and constant attention. His current gig doesn't provide either, the adoring staff is too small and consists of unimportant folks (what, a couple of English and PolSci graduates?) and to earn the bucks he has to travel constantly. Bummer.
A TV show gig will not only get Clintbilly a studio audience of trained monkeys responding to the flashing applause sign, but more importantly, a big staff of top Hollyweird talent that he can order around and verbally abuse, from producers and directors on down to hairdressers. Heck, he'll then be the President of a television show, a job very similar in nature to the one he recently held.
