Joined by gubernatorial candidate Bill Simon, President Bush continued his trip on the left coast today as he spoke to a crowd in San Jose, CA regarding compassionate conservatism. Last night, Bush attended a fund raiser for Simon and raised $2.75 million dollars. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

That is soooo true -- I remember reading an article one time -- they asked the same questions of Presidents Carter, Ford, Reagan and Bush (41). All the other guy's gave concise answers, but Carter's ran on and on, for paragraphs ! and he never really said anything -- it was simply amazing !!

Typical RATS, always lying. You would think there were no rich liberals they way they tell it! Davis has done nothing but raise money since he became governor! Everyone here should be aware of that! Here in the state I mean!

Have you heard about AB1058? This is one of the CA Air Resources Boards gems. In this bill they want put a $3,000 surcharge on all SUV purchases, increase the cost of gas for SUV's by 50 cents a gallon and charge 2 cents per mile for each mile driven by an SUV. Take your breath away? Call 1-800-988-2588 and leave a message for your State Senator. This bill has already passed the Assembly and the Senate will be taking is up shortly.

There are those who won't oppose this bill because they don't own, or aren't interested in purchasing, an SUV. However, if the Air Resources Board gets away with this, do you really think they will stop here?

I'm late checking in tonight, but I think the thing that ticked me off so much about Rush is a lack of loyalty. He must have gotten a lot of flack about his overt criticism of Bush, because he came out with this weak comparison of the difference between liberal Bush bashing and his own criticism. Personally, I could not see any difference.

Oh I would LOVE to be a "fly on the wall" and hear what Barbara really thinks about Clinton -- you can get hints in some of the stuff she says in this book -- she obviously thinks Slick Willy was a rat for what he did to the office of President (not just what he did "physically", as in Monicagate, but what he did to the nation's perception of the honor and dignity that we should expect of the Presidency)
