The homosexuals destroy everything that they touch. What a truly pathetic group of self-centered and self-serving evil-doers.

They should not give in to Satan and should stick to their guns.

''I think the Salvation Army should be ashamed of itself for trying to decide who should get health care and who shouldn't,'' Geraghty said. ''That decision should cross over every religious line.'' The Salvation Army has proved it is more than willing to help. It's the liberals who are stopping them. The liberals aren't willing to allow their Constitutional right to freedom of Religion.
Sorry, poor elderly, the liberals won't let them do it anymore unless they bow down to Satan. Sorry.
The liberals have decided who will get help, and who will not.

I'll do my part. How sad that our society is taken hostage by a bunch of freaks--and that is what they are. It is totally unnatural to be gay.

Bump for the Salvation Army!
They have a mature conscience!
To: wife-mom
I agree hopefully they won't waiver....

The Salvation Army, my favorite couturier, has a right to make its own rules. The domestic partner law is stupid.

iThe Salvation Army's refusal to comply with Portland's domestic partnership ordinance could jeopardize the only activity center and meals-on-wheels program that serves the city's elderly.
PC vs religion, I pray that religion wins. The Salvation Army does good things, they should not be forced to feed the immorals. Everyone scream for the falacy of seperation of Church and State (which is a farce), but they don't scream it here where it the same issue.

''I think the Salvation Army should be ashamed of itself for trying to decide who should get health care and who shouldn't,'' Geraghty said. ''That decision should cross over every religious line.'' I think the city of Portland should be ashamed for promoting homosexuality.

SAD = same-sex attraction disorder

''I think the Salvation Army should be ashamed of itself for trying to decide who should get health care and who shouldn't,'' Geraghty said. ''That decision should cross over every religious line.'' Should they be ashamed, Ms Mayor? Or should the city be ashamed for pushing an agenda that runs counter to the SA's sensibilities and beliefs? The SA does so much good for the city's elderly but that doesn't count much since there is an agenda at stake, right Ms. Mayor?

My grandfather wasn't a particularily religious man.
However, he had a lot of time for the Salvation Army.
Ignorance aside, Salvation Army BUMP.

''I think the city should be ashamed of itself for trying to decide who should get health care and who shouldn't,'' Geraghty said. ''That decision should cross over every politcally correct line.'' There ... that makes more sense than the original statement.
To: wife-mom
Hope the Salvation Army stands on its principles.I hope the federal government eliminates every penny of funding to Salvation Army. (And to every other charitable endeavor.)
As far as the Salvation Army standing on its principles...well, I don't really care.

''I think the Salvation Army should be ashamed of itself for trying to decide who should get health care and who shouldn't,'' Geraghty said. ''That decision should cross over every religious line.'' Of course, this is an outright lie from the homo mayor.

Except, of course, that the Salvation Army refused to take Second Amendment Sisters tee shirts to the volunteers working to search for survivors in the rubble of the twin towers, and were very nasty when they informed me that they are absolutely, totally, anti-gun, even for self-defense, no matter what the Bible says on the subject. They will never get another dime, or another minute of my time.
Why should they be receiving tax money, anyway? Weren't they supposed to be doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, as service to the Lord?
To: MightyMouth
Didn't know that. Strike another charity. Pretty soon we will be giving only to the animal shelter and the Church (a very conservative, Christian-extremist denomination).

I know, it's very disappointing. I'm basically down to the local animal shelters (the HSUS has come out as anti-gun and anti-hunting), Second Amendment Sisters, 4H shooting programs, local food banks, some fundraising for supplies for home schoolers in the area, and then every pro-2A groups in existence. Of course, since I used to devote several hours a month and a fair amount of money to Salvation Army, that was all freed up for other things, including NRA instructor certification classes. One door closes, another opens... :o)
