Except, of course, that the Salvation Army refused to take Second Amendment Sisters tee shirts to the volunteers working to search for survivors in the rubble of the twin towers, and were very nasty when they informed me that they are absolutely, totally, anti-gun, even for self-defense, no matter what the Bible says on the subject. They will never get another dime, or another minute of my time.

Why should they be receiving tax money, anyway? Weren't they supposed to be doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, as service to the Lord?

Didn't know that. Strike another charity. Pretty soon we will be giving only to the animal shelter and the Church (a very conservative, Christian-extremist denomination).
