Mr. Robinson,
Like many of my fellow Freepers have done before, I want to thank you and everybody who works on this site to keep it running.
I rely on this site along with Drudge to get my news, and I use this when I can to help people who don't have access to a TV when breaking news is happening. A great example would be the tornadoes that hit the DFW area last week.
This site has also helped me in seeing different points of view concerning the plethora of issues that come out each day.
I just hope that I will be able to spend the time on FR I spend now come next fall when I head off to law school.

When I first saw the headline, I thought it said "Sickest", then I saw "New York Times" and I was sure!I thought the same thing. I almost didn't even read it. heh heh

In advertising circles, "stickiness" counts for almost as much as number of hits. With FR that far in the lead, this has to be a very attractive site for folks looking to get a message across.
Congratulations, Jim.

We already have. Remember "Get out of Cheney's house!" and "Sore Loserman." I believe that could not have happened without FreeRepublic.

Ps:I trid to find the dnc/the du and capitol Grilling and the others Rat sites. Nope none on the list. The democrats attention span is very limited to 5 minutes of sound bites.
Good morning and it looks like a great day!

I've never been to any of those other sites, but if that time is anything but 8 hours and 56 minutes per day I'm way ahead of the curve.

I can give up FReeping anytime I want...
I just don't want to! :-)

Questioning the validity of the "work" stats ... 99% of the people I communicate with on FR ... which, no doubt happen to be the ones doing the majority of posting, are at WORK. What gives? &;-)
To: Timesink
Funny, I don't see any liberal sites on there. Or even any news sites!Heck, we even beat out old people playing bingo. That's quite an accomplishment!

I don't know about y'all, but Free Republic is more "sticky" at work than at home! Shhh... don't tell my boss!Uh, oh. Someone's found us out.
Work and home are one and the same for me. We have FR on all day, thanks to broadband. We've given up on TV, so this is our source of news and entertainment.
What with the caption threads, remember this threads, LOTR threads (ducking), poetry threads, etc., etc., who needs TV?
