[history]
A man who told police he bit off his 2-year-old son's thumb, and apparently held it in his mouth for about six hours, was arrested for child abuse and aggravated assault, authorities said Sunday.
Police responding to a 911 call Saturday night found Raymond Jones running on a street naked, said police Sgt. Bill Knight.
Jones, 39, told detectives he had taken several hits of the hallucinogen PCP and had swallowed his son's thumb because he wanted to mix their DNA, Knight said.

I can think off something he's got that they should cut off. How the h*ll does someone who's doing angel dust go unnoticed until he bites some poor kids thumb off?

Now this is a party animal!
Couldn't we give him a pizza, send him to Ramallah,
"Ding dong. Yes? Is this the Arafat headquarters? Yes. Pizza Man!"

The child was found alone, several blocks away at the entrance of the trailer park where they lived. Ouch. Just, ouch.
Horse tranquilizers, trailer trash and child-care just don't mix in my book, but then, I don't wanna be all judgemental or anything. Gas 'em, says I.

Oh my god. That's just horrific.
I can think of plenty of names for that 'father', but I think the moderators might censor them.

You don't say. Hmmm.

Just kill the idiot! Yet, with our wonderful legal system he might not even have to get out of jail before fathering another child.
His drug use will be considered a mitigating circumstance when his trial comes up. He'll probably end up with work release and "counseling". Again, our "Justice" system will ignore the damage done to the victim. I feel sorry for the poor child; he not only did nothing wrong, but could have done nothing to prevent the attack; from Daddy yet!

A lead slug in back of the head with a quick burial in a landfill would be just about right.

OK, for all those who want to legalize drugs, how about giving us a big "thumbs up!"

My first thought after reading this article was to try to imagine an appropriate method of torture and execution. Upon further reflection I realize that this scum isn't worth the effort. Just take him out and shoot him like you would any other rabid animal.

Why the burial?
Buzzards got'ta eat same as a worm.

"He'll probably end up with work release and "counseling"." Well of course. After all ... he only bit off his son's thumb. Moreover, he is a victim of society. YOU made him do it! You were not nice enough to him. I can tell from your post that you don't have a proper empathy with thumb-biting, child-abusing, drug-taking residents of trailer parks. You probably even expect him to stay off prohibited substances and work for a living. Very oppressive.

It's fortunate the poor child didn't bleed to death during the hours while he was alone in the trailer park. How painful that injury must have been for a little two year old. Now he will grow up maimed.

The child was found alone, several blocks away at the entrance of the trailer park where they lived. I wonder how many people saw this two year old kid walking around with a bloody hand?
You would think even in a trailer park there has to be a couple of decent people who would help this kid or at least call the police.
The father should be put in prison for a long, long time without his thumbs, of course.

What does legalization have to do with this?
He'd be arrested for child abuse same as he's be arrested for driving head on into a family of 5 while drunk (alcohol is a legal substance BTW).

His name wasn't Tom was it?
String him up by his thumbs with a bowl of PCP on the floor in front of him. Let gangrene be his only hope of release.

,,, a lead slug isn't the answer. This loser has to be kept alive [once his thumbs have been removed] to pay the bills for this poor little kid.

Does Joe Arpaio still have his tent city jail? If so, then maybe Mr. Jones ought to be held there in the general population until his arraignment. I'm sure the fellows there would enjoy talking to him.
