An amazing article given the source.

Damn! I thought the thread was titled Exit the Idiot (Micheal Moore).

Much as I disagree with Falwell, the author makes a mistaken assumption. Falwell only jumped on "Tinky-Winky" AFTER he had become an icon in the British homosexual community.

Jonah Goldberg has referred to Michael Moore, who is speaking to Cornellians today
"A tale told by a blind man, full of sound and fury signifying....nothing."

I think Jonah and Micheal should have a donut eating contest on FOX between the Tanya Vs. Whoever fight, and the Joey Buttafucco vs. Whoever fight.

And AFTER Time Magazine spoke of Tinky Winky being gay. No one ever made mention of this and it was never talked about. But once Falwell talked about it he was credited and accused of being the source of said thoughts and got the usual crowd all worked up.

I gotta hand it to that slob Moore.
For a guy:
- whose only talent is to show up uninvited at corporate offices and videotape the bemused security guards' reactions; and
- who claims to be such a champion of the "little guy",
he sure has horded a LOT of money for himself.

Is he speaking at Bailey? Throw oranges at him - weren't the students throwing oranges at Ann Coulter when she spoke on campus last year?

Only an idiot would attempt to have a debate with an idiot.

Author:
I may not like Falwell too much, but Moore makes Fawell look like Einstein by comparison. I don't like it when I see a pot shot like this. If Falwell is the target, support your opinion. If he's not the target then leave him out.

Seems as though even the liberals are getting fed up with his insanity.
I think what sealed it for me about MM was his appearance on O'Reiley's show. He refused to answer any question without some "comic input" (and I use that phrase lightly). I think he thinks that his thoughts are worthwhile because they're funny (which they're not even that really).
I can hardly wait until he takes his rightful place in history, which is that of a nobody.

Boy is this a feeping opportunity. Where is Cornell located, New York?
Will the N.Y. chapter be attending this?
To: jalisco555
Put simply, he has earned millions of dollars by concocting creative ways to act foolish. He's not acting.

Is your NY chapter going to be present for this wonderful freeping opportunity?

Is your NY chapter going to be present for this wonderful freeping opportunity? Sadly, I won't be returning from my five year exile from NY until August. I would LOVE to Freep this A-shole, but Miami was not part of his book tour.

But whereas Falwell keeps busy accusing popular children's TV characters of being homosexual, It was a homosexual magazine that first made the "Tinky-Winky is gay" assertion. The wire services even ran with this story before Falwell picked it up.
