All,
Just talked to Jim Bryant Chief, Division of Water and Lands at BOR and here's what he said:
Gail Norton, Ann Vennamen, and Gordon Smith will be here Friday March 29th to officially open the headgates. The press release that Jim had from DOI said that all will happen between 9:30 to 10:45 AM.
I checked the DOI website for the press release and it hasn't been posted yet. Will let you know more as I learn it.

The lawsuit idea is a good one. I'd contribute if it happens.

The lawsuit idea is a good one. I'd contribute if it happens. Also the clowns that wrote the faulty spotted owl report and dumped the lynx hairs.

In addition to the Upper Basin proposing to use our mid-Klamath farm areas and water as mitigation for Klamath Project impacts on coho, we face a California listing of all coho north of San Farncisco. The DFG makes it's recommendations in April and the CA Fish and Game Commission makes its listing decision in June.
If listed, pressures will be applied to wrest waters to increase instream flows from agriculture in our area. There will also be permitting barriers for some of our traditional methods of water diversion.
We have a website on this here
Additional complications are current status review of the federal coho listing. The Grange suit on the federal coho listing. A statewide proposal to regulate some groundwater usage in California. Fast approaching water quality standards to be imposed for water temperature, sediment and low dissolved oxygen.
What can you do? After the Dept. of Fish and Game releases its recommendation, write the fish and Game Commission and ask them not to list on the basis that there is insufficient information to support listing.

Now that's a plan. Those groups sure like to use the courts. Now let them suffer the monetary effects of screwing the farmers over. I love the prospect.

And a special note of thanks to GrandmaC, Jeff Head, and all the other Patriots who stood tall on behalf of our American farmers! Sorry if I'm excluding someone...haven't followed as close as I should have, but my respect and appreciation goes to them, also.
To: Issaquahking
I agree! These farmers paid for it more than once! There was no hand outs here! This is their lands and their water and they are the best stewards of the land in the area as all the reports show, as well as all the wildlifes' bodies that died as a result of this infamous attack of the so called "do-gooders" for a fish that has survived a long time in the first place! But eagles and others were toast cause they had no water! God Bless America and the true parents of the land!
To: glock rocks
I want to know how to do that!

There is never a full victory with these enviralists. Since they receive funding from the government, citizens and probably enemies of America, they can work 24/7/365 to creat evil schemes and then implement them. The rest of us have jobs or lives to live. Our fight is on a part time basis.
The enviralists will pull away from the Klamath basin and focus in areas of the Klamath River flows in No. Kali just south of the Oregon border to the Pacific Ocean.
The farmers and ranchers there are facing the same battle re control of water.
The ultimate goal of the elite enviralists is to rurally cleanse every farmer, logger, and business owner in an area about 100 miles north and south of the Oregon/Kali border from the Klamath Falls area to the Pacific Ocean.
They see that area as the Druid Heaven for enviralists. They want no roads, no people except them and no one making a living from the land in that area.
Their first successful Rural Cleansing effort was via the spotted owl. That farce rurally cleansed many of the loggers, lumber workers, lumber companies and those businesses that provided products/services to the workers and companies forced out of business. Many small communities just basically disappeared and many have never recovered from this rural cleansing. Entire counties are still in financial trouble from that rural cleansing.
Ping me in the middle of next week, and I will send you some links for the history of the rural cleansing of this area for close to 20 years.

As I barbeque some salmon this spring and summer, I will have tears in my eyes as I serve the salmon to my wife, my son, my DIL and my grand children.
I will know that I have contributed to the massive death of innocent coho and the slimey sucker fish to bring water to the evil farmers/ranchers who want to raise evil food for evil Americans.
(Sarcasm off)Do you prefer lemon on your salmon fillet, and do you like it well done or pink in the center?

Thanks! Now that is the harpo11, we know and love on FR!

I will send a letter to Kali Fish and Game, and I may have their email. I have a life time license and at one time that had some impact with them. Now, I wonder.
They are truly weird now with some recent decisions that they have made.
I have marked your web site as personal favorite and will visit it on a regular basis.
Hopefully your friends in the Klamath Basin will support you and your friends in the Mid-Klamath Crisis.

Thanks for your reporting on site last summer. Your reports enabled us to keep track of what was really happening as the major mediots/pressitutes had spiked all news coming out of there!
