There's not a woman alive who'd pass up on a coniving, manipulative, millionaire husband for a caring, sensitive, "regular Joe" type guy.

Gee, do I detect a bit of bitterness there?:~)

It depends on the woman I guess. I know some that would drop a nice but quiet guy for a flashy bum. Personally I would not want some rich dude, to much work but I don't want a bum either. If he can't support me and the kids then I would have to look elsewhere.

I didn't have a car in high school that makes it real hard to get chicks especially if you had no desire to play football.

Hmmm...this is interesting, I don't know whether I buy it, though.

Mr. Inspectorette is an identical twin. It just so happened that I met his brother before I met him, and thought he was a rather nice-looking man, but that was it. No interest whatsoever. However, when I met Mr. Inspectorette a couple of months later, the minute I laid eyes on him my little heart just went pitter-pat, and I knew I'd follow him anywhere. And I still would.

LOL!...Women will always be "WOMEN".

I had a decent car AND I was a linebacker on my high school football team. I learned early on that girls in high school weren't any more "idealistic" about dating than I was....Lucky for me, I was never "too nice" for my own good.

There is n secret here. Women (smart women, that is) choose mew who are smart, funny, self-confident, and, preferrably, powerful. Of course, powerful is relative.

Smart men choose women for the same reasons.

There there, You're better off without her. Better before the wedding then after. She was no good for you.(is that enough clichés?)

As my mother always says, "Mejor andar solo que mal acompañado."

So we men all need to start dressing like pimps on a 70's TV show? "Red nuptial coloring" notwithstanding, I remember most of those guys wore either purple or leopard-skin...which is best, ladies? LOL!

"Kick the bad boys a**( most of them are p******) when no cops are around it won't get you chicks but it makes you feel better.

Not a question of "kicking ass", per say....It's the IMAGE that chicks really dig in a man. It's older than time itself....You look at men, the pop culture icons, like James Dean, Marlon Brando (The Wild One), ect....Guys who present an image of reckless independence and defiance....There's something very appealing in that, for women.

Primarily, it's a question of CONFIDENCE....Confidence, wether in a man or woman, is the sexiest attribute that one can possess.

I don't think I buy it either. I can think of many married men who are not exactly what you'd call flamboyant or exciting and are just regular good guys. I also know that when a girl starts saying a guy reminds her of her dad, she's likely to end up announcing her engagement real soon. I don't know about the girls raised without dads though.

A choosy female faces two general tasks in selecting a mate. First, she must search for and locate a male. This task can be difficult if the population is sparse or if the danger of predators prevents her from spending a good deal of time searching for a suitable mate. Once she has encountered a male, the female must then decide whether to accept or reject him as a mate. The decision often involves some shopping around.

So this is where the shopping instinct comes from.
