Seems that many pregnancies are assisted by alcohol and that would mean that the offspring would lean toward imbibing as well. That would explain a lot.

Attractiveness may be the case in animals. But in humans, it's largely a decision made as follows: A female will date the wealthiest man, her figure/face can attract A male will date the most attractive female he can attract, with the income he has. Income, not personality, looks, or charisma is the key determing factor. Can anyone name 1 super-model who is dating/married to an attractive busdriver, frycook, or other lower-wage earning male. If exceptions exist, the exception makes the rule. You are SO right. Are you a Leykis listener?

You were those things and your complaining bout women jeez you must have "rounded the bases" so the speak every night. No, just the opposite...I learned from my experiences growing up as a teen that being a nice guy didn't get you anywhere with women. It didn't get the chance to stifle me because I looked around me and gauged the "winners vs. losers" in the dating scene....Soon after, I realized that this method transcended into practically EVERY facet of life.
All the nice guys I knew stayed home on weekends because they never got a clue.

So back in the seventies and eighties when I was running around in my red souped up MGB, top down and auburn hair gleaming in the sun, the men were not attracted??
Then why was it that I never could drive through a new town without the law pulling me over???

I stayed at home computer nerd with no car. I hated dances too although the ladies did actually like to see me when I went to the graduation events. If you were a linebacker with a car the only things that could have hurt you were showing fear/hesistation in asking girls out( and an aforementioned odor problem).

First, the article states:
"Females tend to be the choosier sex when it comes to selecting a mate, partly because males can produce millions of sperm, whereas females' eggs are few and far between."
Then, later, it states:
"...the question of why females discriminate, rather than mate at random, remains largely unresolved."
They could've used a good editor, and the first statement borders on the riculous. How many females go around keeping track of their eggs and selecting partners in manner so they don't squander them? The answer is none. "Why" questions are hard to deal with by science and good scientists should know better than to infer cause and effect, when it's not known, by such circular reasoning.

LOL!...You're right...B.O. is a real passion-killer, ain't it?
I think one the biggest frauds that women commit is having you believe that she's only interested in the simplest things from a humble, decent, unassuming man.
Too many men believe this nonsense and try their best to play the part, yet they find themselves HOME on a Saturday night because Betty was NOT so good on her word...LOL!
A woman would rather spend the night at a bar with SATAN himself than entertain an angel...EVERY TIME.

It doesn't get much clearer than that. Well put.
