Good heavens, those people are sick.

I heard about this too. Sean is going to have a ticked off Port Authority cop in a few minutes to discuss this.
When is the USA going to wake up and realize that the rest of the world really does not like us that much? I don't really understand why, though. It seems that we're always the ones who come in and bail everybody else's butts out of the fire.

If this is true...I am so sick and tired of the IOC telling us, Utah and the United States that we can't be patriotic, that we can't remember 9/11 in the Opening ceremonies, that we shouldn't be chanting USA USA during any of the events. I'm hoping Mitt Romney is on top of the issue and tells the IOC to stuff it. Better still, just use the flag anyway. It's better to ask forgivenss, than permission.

Why not just let our flag carriers haul it in with them during the opening ceremony?

If it's possible revoke as many visas as we can. Toss the olympic bums out. Screw 'em! Let 'em go ski in Switzerland.

It isn't shocking that a group of third world socialists, in planning for a gathering at a NWO feel good event, would chide America to "keep quite" and not display its flags or patriotism.
What's shocking is that I see nobody from "our" side telling them to stuff it where the sun doesn't shine. But then again, maybe I'm not shocked. This is a "new day in America", after all.
To: LoanPalm
Our law enforcement and security services are way "too American." Lets withdraw them from protecting the bigwigs of the Olympic "movement." Wouldn't want those citizens of the world feeling uncomfortable.

Thanks,
I saw that one when I did my check before posting.

Well guess what, this is America. If you don't like it, go have your Olympics somewhere else.

>If it's possible revoke as many visas as we can. Toss the olympic bums out. [shrugs] Let's just lock them all in Utah, and make everyone stay there and become Mormons...

Yup, I say we pull a little switcheroo with the National Flag in the 'Parade of Nations.'
I cannot think of a more fitting tribute than having the flag carried by the most worthy team member (and probably a close relative of someone affected by Sept. 11) into the stadium to represent our country be the one that flew over the WTC.
