Government scientists planted samples of lynx hairs in a third national forest, according to documents obtained by The Washington Times.

"A preliminary investigation by the U.S. Forest Service said planted samples were submitted from the Mount Baker/Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington state, but the report did not say how many additional samples were submitted from that region.

Sorry, no time to read your post, zog. Got to send a fax to Senator Cantwell about this matter. Not that she will care - she's a flaming lib who replaced Senator Gorton who would have been all over this like white on rice. But he was ousted by folks like you who opted out, so now I have to deal with a senator who has been bought and paid for by Hillary Clinton.

The investigation was concluded in June, and the employees were disciplined but not fired. .

Not fired? They falsified a study and committed fraud and they get to keep their jobs? You have to be a serial axe-murderer to get fired from a government job nowadays. Pathetic! You can bet it's not the first time they've falsified data, and it won't be the last.

Thanks, CC - but I find that those "independents" are too busy being superior to get anything done or even to thank the "R" who is carrying the water on this in Congress.

My question: How many other studies have been skewed in this manner? How many millions of acres of valuable land has been seized by the federal government due to falsified environmental reports?

I don't think we've even scratched the surface of this one.

LOL, that's true...and they're too busy adjusting their tinfoil hats to wonder if maybe, just maybe, the word "independent" has another meaning that has nothing to do with political parties.

I have posting since GW was sworn in about all types of vile activities done by federal and state workers.

Regardless of who is president, these clymers know that they can't be fired or shot for what they do. So they continue to do what they have been doing for decades. 99.999% of these clymers are card carrying demonicRats and envirals!

These envirals, their enviral organizations and the senators like Da$$hole, Boxer, ChiFi and _______(you fill in the blank) and enviral governors like Fadeout Facist Davis, the two sorry governors from Oregone and Washington are nothing but hand puppets for the enviral organizations that help to finance their elections and release their voting cults to vote for them are anti America/American! They are far more dangerous than the Taliban and al_Queerdos as they effect our lives each and every day with actions like this planting of the lynx hairs!

I think that at least the contracted lab that processed these samples and perpetuated this fraud should lose its contract and never be able to make money from a government (tax payer supported) contract ever again. Oh, wait a minute. Pres. Clinton signed an executive order to make sure that this would be the case but Pres.W just overturned this order as a gift to his campaign contributors. My mistake- businesses like this one should be allowed to continue screwing the tax payer.

I have always suspected deciet in everything claimed by environmentalists, tree huggers, endangered species proclaimers, the global warming horse hockeyists, the bornintounescapablehomosexualtyspinites, and socialist propaganda in general.

How would a few hairs off a lynx be found in a world where Eric Robert Rudolph, Mullah Omar and Osama Bin Laden has eluded the best searchers in the business? Easy, the discoverer of the hairs entered the woods with the hairs in their pockets and pulled them out and discovered them at the most opportune moment, in the middle of the proper acreage.

Does our survival really depend upon the Lynx, spotted owl, woody woodpecker, snail darters, fruit flies, environmental wackos? If it does, what is the point of surviving?

Why are you blaming President Bush and the labs for a deed perpetrated by 7 enviro-wackos posing as scientists?

I've long suspected fraud, lies, spinning and swindles with this eco-stuff. The spotted owl was an early warning sign for those who were paying attention.

" Absolutely incredible. Makes you wonder how long they've been falsifying data in order to justify land grabs. "

As long as there have been land grabs I'll bet.
