Easy, the discoverer of the hairs entered the woods with the hairs in their pockets and pulled them out and discovered them at the most opportune moment, in the middle of the proper acreage.
Does our survival really depend upon the Lynx, spotted owl, woody woodpecker, snail darters, fruit flies, environmental wackos? If it does, what is the point of surviving?
