In fact, this woman is seen a a very spoiled and selfish woman for not having a maternal instinct. Men here are calling her spoiled and selfish for denying her natural maternal instincts, yet would you be so willing to go to another thread on father's rights and actually admit that most women do have instincts or the desire for children that is generally stronger than men's? :) I mean.....isn't that why you are so willing to despise this woman so much, yet would not have the same hatred for a man who doesn't want to become a father?

Yes. I feel a tender sympathy for their blind cluelessness, and hope for their sakes that God overrules their fear and stubbornness as he did mine.

Yes, all except for the part I wrote about sex. In my experience, men with no nurturing instinct don't make any better husbands than they do fathers.

I'm not at all clear what you're trying to imply about me, here; your post is anything but clearly worded. For the record, though, my thoughts (not feelings, please) regarding her selfishness have nothing to do with her being a her. If she was a he, I'd say the same thing. Do you view children as nothing more than a burden, inconvenience, and drag on your free-wheeling lifestyle? Was your conscience, perchance, pricked by my comment?

I don't have a problem with any man or woman who doesn't want kids. Some people don't like kids around including some women and shouldn't have them. Why that brings out the reaction it has (among some here) is a mystery, but maybe you explained it. Just don't think ALL men have a problem with it. Only the ones with a problem with females.

I think there is a big difference between men and women who do not want to have children and this lady. She seems to be taking a stand against having children as a social/political statement. She has a holier than thou attitude about her "decision" and seems to be promoting the "women don't have to" mentatlity that is pushed by the feminist left as opposed to having genuinly come to the decision to not have children.
