So what does dog taste like, chicken? Which breed tastes the best, and which the worst?

Amen on those dang poodles. But personally, I'd have a real hard time eating a dog if I had seen it alive. Was marveling just today, while walking through the park, just how gregarious dogs are, always willing to say hello in their own way to any friendly person. Truly a gift from God. But then again, so is steak.

I am with PETA on this one

Interesting way you put that. This is not just semantics. I've kept a watchful eye on myself in this regard. So easily people see something that they agree with -- yet the underlying group or thing they are in disagreement with. In this case PETA. PETA is not an authority. Leastwise not a valid authority. Valid authorities are marked by honesty, integrity and commitment to honest principles. I can safely assume that puts you wayyyy ahead of PETA.

PETA finally agrees with me on something, is the proper perspective/frame-of-reference. Or just PETA finally got something right. Or I have to admit PETA is right on this one.

Each person needs to live as the highest authority. I mean, who else has rights over you? Certainly not PETA.

In some parts of asia people raise guinea pigs, using them as a sort of garbage disposal until they get plump enough and eat 'em. so what? I imagine they're cute and furry too.

I went for the headline grabber. The headline is NOT my personal feeling on the topic, but I knew it would garner the biggest response. That is why I have tried to carefully explain my beliefs twice above.

If you notice PETA was not even mentioned in the photos stories, I made them up with regard to these photos I saw. All I meant by the headline is that I am not for eating dogs. I am quite careful with my language and PETA does not speak for me in any regard. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to clarify further.

I've eaten "monkey on a stick", rooster legs, snails, "baloomb" (half formed chicken eggs), dog, cat, rat, rabbit, lamb, squirrel, cow, bull, cow tungue, reptile, camel burgers, fish eggs, fish, tuna (wink-wink)....Bottom line, I as human am top of the food chain. If it tastes good eat it!!!!!!!

As a kid I went on a trip playing soccer and it took me to Austria. We had this wonderful little dinner of venison & fries (did not know what it was at the time). It was only later I learned that the cute Bambi petting zoo all us kids had been playing around out back was, um, shall we say the one deck circle.

Animals were put on the Earth by God to serve man. Not the other way around. Hungry people should eat whatever food is available.

But the individuals behind the curtain at PETA and other animal-rights groups are a strange and amoral lot who have an agenda most people are totally unaware of.

While no one should be cruel to animals, it was the Nazis who hoped to elevate animals to a level alongside human beings.

Please do not just blame the Koreans, many asian nations eat dog and who are we to say they are wrong??
