As a kid I went on a trip playing soccer and it took me to Austria. We had this wonderful little dinner of venison & fries (did not know what it was at the time). It was only later I learned that the cute Bambi petting zoo all us kids had been playing around out back was, um, shall we say the one deck circle.

Technically, venison is not only deer. Venison encompasses the meat of deer, moose, elk or caribou. Personally, I prefer moose.
