My friends & I were swept up in Beatle-Mania big-time.

Pictures taped to the inside of our flip-top desks. "16" magazines hidden under our math books. Trading "Beatle Cards" at recess. Listening to the "Top Ten" (most of them Beatles tunes)into the wee hours on a transistor radio hidden under the pillow so Mom & Dad won't hear it.

Paul was the cute one.

John was the married one.

Ringo was the goofy one.

George was........the quiet one.

We each had our "favorite."

George was my favorite. From the start.

May he rest in peace.

As a thought for the day from one of George's songs, how about "Isn't It a Pity?" The real pity being that we will all indeed miss a chance for a True Reuninon of the Fab Four, based on their failure to acknowledge Jesus as Lord -- thus missing the chance to join those of us who will be with Him.

Let us pray for Paul and Ringo.

I once dreamed I was about to marry George Harrison. Which was very strange, because he'd never been a "crush" of mine. And in the dream, although I was very apprehensive about marrying a celebrity, I felt very happy. I knew I was marrying the nicest, kindest man in the whole world. I woke up with a wonderful happy feeling. I've never understood why I had this dream, but I've never forgotten it. I always had a really good feeling in my heart about Mr. Harrison since that day; I've always been sure he was just as lovely as I had dreamed.

It's very heart warming to read so many kind remarks about him here. It's a dreary day here, which is suitable, because I am really very sad about this.

I was born in'61,my introduction to the Beatles came whenever we visited my grandmther in Liverpool,
we'd sit in the "front parlor"playing my aunts beatles 45's and listening to her tales from her teen cavern club days
George will be sadly missed by anyone with a soul(50's dad!)
A uniquely talented guitarist and songwriter,deeply spiritual man and a world class spokesman for his country and generation.
