Have there truly been thousands of terrorist attacks by "Middle-Eastern" people?

Yes, count all the attacks in Israel, Africa, Europe, Asia....and don't forget they tried to murder the Pope too. And they did murder Anwar Sadat.

I can't believe it's still operating because I know for a fact that several FReepers reported it to the FBI last week.

October 29, 1972 Palestinian guerrillas kill an airport employee and hijack a plane, carrying 27 passengers, to Cuba. They force West Germany to release 3 terrorists who were involved in the Munich Massacre.

October 29 Q: Why was this day in 1929 called Black Tuesday? A: It was the start of the Great Depression, a financial crisis that affected the whole world for about ten years. Stock market prices on the New York Stock Exchange dropped incredibly on this day, and continued to fall for a few years. As a result, many banks closed, businesses failed, companies had to cut production, and millions of people lost their jobs. President Franklin D. Roosevelt's "New Deal," and America's entry into World War II in 1941, borught the Depression to a close.

Military cap that vaguely resembles a floppy fishing cap. Usually camo or olive drab.

Folks, and I am dead serious,

a cheap small 35mm pocket camera on your person is one of the most critical weapons in this war.

It's a shame that you didn't whip out one and snap a few photos of this guy.

Imagine if someone had been suspicious and taken a few photos of Mohammed Atta out at lunch or barhopping with a few pals who are still at large, possibly putting anthrax into envelopes, or working on the next 9-11?

I have an Olympus XA 35mm camera which fits into a shirt pocket. Since it is a wide angle only, and totally silent, I can hold it casually at my side, aim it in a general direction, and take photos at even close range without arousing suspicion.

MHG, do you have your Citizen Alert thread handy to link?

You must be the product of one of them gubmint schools.

For those who have retained their intellectual faculties, the reason why even a trivial-seeming incident such as this might be worthy of attention is that we know that islamic terror cells based in the United States are now threatening to use weapons of mass destruction against the US civilian population. I certainly don't mean to diss RaceBannon as an alarmist for posting this thread -- I've met him, and I know he's a good guy. However, I think the chances that a bunch of islamic terrorists are going to divulge the timing of their next atrocity to a westerner -- even a liberal college professor -- are slim to none.

What is it I'm looking for again?

The Statue of Liberty dedication date was on October 28th 1886

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Seems to me there haven't been that many really big terrorist attacks and at least 2 were by white guys

Not recently, nope. The terrorist du jour is Middle Eastern, male, swarthy, often heard reciting "Allahu Ahkbar!"

No, the smart money today says watch out for Middle Eastern types.

But we'll rouse you when the terrorist du jour is a tow-headed Norwegian.

Hey, I said CONGRESS HAS NOT DECLARED WAR AND HAS NOT DEFINED THE ENEMY!!!!!!! Can you hear me!! Congress HAS NOT declared war!!!
I was not talking about the devils that flew the planes. Congress Has Not declared war. To do so, they would have to define the enemy which would include islam. Again, I say, congress has not declared war officially.

If you want to believe that we are fighting this with a full commitment, then, I can get you some cheap land in Afghanistan!!!
We are bombing what???? Vacant land? ( the parcels I want to sell you).
Not one soldier should be sacrificed if we are going to fight this like the "Vietnam Police Action" wherein we gave the enemy sanctuary.
We won't attack on ramadan???? Why not? If this is war, we should fight until we win and the hell with anyone's sensitivity.
