My wife just yelled upstairs to me that NBC News reports that Mullah Omar, leader of the Taliban, has reportedly been killed.
Can anyone confirm?

Exactly. Read about him going into "Vison" mode for days. Bottomline, he was a threat to us, our society and our future. Happy to hear he is gone. Would want to have a DNA analysis of his body to make sure we GOT HIM.

Oct. 10 — U.S. warplanes pounded cities in Afghanistan for a fourth straight night Wednesday as evidence surfaced that the air campaign had reached very close to leaders of the country’s militant Islamist Taliban rulers. A senior U.S. official told NBC News that two male relatives of Mullah Mohammed Omar, the Taliban’s supreme leader, had been killed, as had other people described as Taliban officers.
