A good parallel is Japanese-Americans in World War Ii. We imprisoned all that lived on the west coast. But no Japanese American proved disloyal and they provided us with our most-decorated regiment. From what I have seen of American Muslim, they equally appreciate the better life here and are anxious to prove their loyalty, and to extend the blessings of liberty to their posterity. We all have an obligation to help keep the situation calm. As I said in a message to the NEOhio Freepers this morning we'd all like to kick a little Ossama Bin Laden butt. But, he ain't here, and many of us are getting too old and too out of shape for a bar fight.

Organize a fund drive for the families and children of the firefighters and police who aren't coming home in New York City or the people who were on the planes, or working in the offices in New York and Washington. Get these people involved in that. Channel their energy into something constructive.

While inexcusable, it is understandable that this would happen. My suggestion for every Mosque in the US is to stand together with their American brothers and to appeal to their followers to offer any assistance they can in bringing these cowards to justice. Many of them have family in the lands that we must go to. Many speak the language. Many of them understand a culture that is confusing and foreign to us.

Prove that they are Americans first, and Muslims second. Otherwise, their cries of victimhood will fall on deaf ears.

Yes, well, I'm on the hot-headed side myself right now, and I probably look back on myself and feel some shame... but for right now, all I know is that Muslims have been targeting Christians and Americans for years now, and finally, they are going to get some payback.

• The 4 social workers jailed by Muslims for passing out Bibles in Afghanistan weren't terrorists. (only facing life in prison, not murder)
