I can roughly quote William Cohen from his live interview on CNN within the last 10 minutes: "We are going to have to make some tough decisions in this country. We are going to have to "garbled" when making choices between security and civil liberties."
Does anyone know when the airlines were forced to remove the guns from the cockpits? I think it was around 1974, but am just not sure. I'm hearing that these terrorists took over these planes with knives and box cutters. If that is so, whoever made the brilliant decision to have pilots and crews not have access to adequate arms to protect their planes can ... well, I think we all have our own versions of what fate should befall them, I'll bet.
As far as bombing all of the "ragheads," we must be careful to not become what we despise. We are not terrorists. We're better than that.
So the Moslems are just misunderstood. And if we just got along with them they wouldn't still bomb us and shoot at us and blow up our ships? Sorry. Not buying it. They only understand one thing. Force. Power. And I think rather the enabling attitude of the past 8 years towards the Moslems has emboldened them, not enraged them. How could we be nicer to them than we have been for the last 8 years?
1) The Taliban/Osama Bin Laden, a known sponsor of terrorism against American Embassays and the Kohl (who now leads the Taliban in Afganistan).
2) Saddam Hussein, who ex-CIA Director Jim Woolsey said was quite possibly behind the first World Trade Center bombing, but the Clinton Administration took a "highly respected FBI agent" who was pursuing this theory & the evidnce behind it OFF the case(!!) per Woolsey in his pointedly critical remarks regarding the Clinton Administration, from which he resigned as CIA Director & of which he (Jim Woolsey, former CIA Director) has been candidly highly critical for Chinagate & other National security scandals.
3) The PLO, and if necessary Yassir Arafat;
4) Mohammar Khaddaffi of Libya, a sponsor of State Terrorism against Americans, e.g., Pan Am Flight 109;
5) Anyone else who sonsors terrorism against the US.
WHY WAIT?
Adequate & abundant eveidence exists regarding ALL of the above actors & organizations as having sponsored MULTIPLE terrorist acts against American targets.
Make the response swift, strong, just, and lethally accurate!
LET NO ENEMY go undestroyed or go unchallenged.
No enemy of the US must survive, period.
This happened today, not because W. is our President, but because Clinton was our President for 8 long, sad years.
Too bad Clinton didn't have the guts to get more bombed out than an aspirin factory or figure out how to use the military for more than a meals-on-wheels-peacekeeping force.
Pray for W. He'll need every one of our prayers to bring more than integrity back to the Office of the Presidency.
Make a list of all goverments sponsoring terrorism in the MidEast..
Take out the 3 tallest buildings and the military HQ in each capital city.
And dare them to strike again.
It's the psychos who do this, not the REAL religious people. Please remember that when you point that accusatory finger, there are three fingers pointed back at yourself. We need to find out who is guilty of this -- and fast -- and bomb them out of existence, along with anyone who aided and abetted. However, to haul off and blame all Muslims for the acts of a few, to say that all Muslims want to kill us, is just assinine.
Stop and think.
How can you *prevent* the initial horrific use of force? Twiddle thumbs? C'mon...
You can never prevent harm. The common belief
that the police can really even protect an individual
is bunk! Even the SS couldn't prevent Lincoln,
Garfield, Cleveland and Kennedy from being killed.
Our only hope is to Nuke the perpetrators and all
of their relatives up to Allah! They may do it one
time, even their children could never do it again.
Suppose you are walking down the street and
someone walking toward you punches you in
the face. How would you prevent that? He tells
authorities he thought you were going to hit him.
Was he justified in hitting you first? That was
initial use of force. Are you justified in hitting
him back? You bet! That's not!
Shepard Smith just said there is a huge cry for
blood now in New York City. I say in more
ways than one!
Now I also know why I voted for Newt so many
times. He just went back up a few notches in my
book!
Remember, it's not just Dems. Some of the most oppressive gun control measures have been passed by Republicans, too.
I don't know who did it, and I hope they're reaping what they've sown, but I do know that we must stop it, and we must reverse it. We do not need to give up any more of our civil liberties to be safer -- we must regain them to be safer. Period. No politician who announces such a thing as "giving up some of our civil liberties" should be allowed to hold office, because s/he is a traitor to this country.
