Does anyone know when the airlines were forced to remove the guns from the cockpits? I think it was around 1974, but am just not sure. I'm hearing that these terrorists took over these planes with knives and box cutters. If that is so, whoever made the brilliant decision to have pilots and crews not have access to adequate arms to protect their planes can ... well, I think we all have our own versions of what fate should befall them, I'll bet.
As far as bombing all of the "ragheads," we must be careful to not become what we despise. We are not terrorists. We're better than that.
I heard someone say the clean up crews (who clean the airplanes after flights) could plant weapons on an airplane.I'm not sure how what the procedure is with these kinds of things at airports. Wonder if that could be possible?
