Comedian Dave Chappelle, performing back-to-back shows as part of his “Karmageddon” tour, told a sold out Madison Square Garden crowd he “feels better” after Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was murdered.
“I feel f****d up saying this. It’s scary being a public speaker. And I mean look, ever since that guy Charlie Kirk got murdered … and I shouldn’t say this publicly but, I feel better,” Chappelle said, receiving some applause and laughter from the crowd.
“I know I shouldn’t say that but, it’s just a feeling,” Chappelle continued. “I didn’t ask to feel this way. I just be driving around like, ‘why am I in such a good mood? Oh!'”

That stuff’s working. Pay no price. He’ll throw us a bone from time to time just to keep us in check.
Is it the same with Steven A. Smith or Charles Barkley? Look at the wolf in sheep’s clothing Bill Maher brings our way. Brutally honest enough to not shut the left off.
You have to be “shocking” and “scandalous.”
That’s what gets you attention and sells.
I have always thought Chappelle was vastly overrated, and embraced by many white fans, who wanted ‘credit’ for supporting a black comedian. This was an irresponsible and ghastly statement!
Does he not realize how much anti-conservative violence he indirectly supports by throwing mud on Charlie Kirk’s name?
I would say that he does, or he would have not done it. But that is just me.
Sick. I have a zero tolerance for anyone who celebrates the extinction of such a bright light in our dark world. That kind of evil cannot be accepted.
That’s as bad as the Atlanta DJ dedicating the song “Another One Bites the Dust” to the black kids in Atlanta a few years back....

No, he does not think about anticonservative violence that his rhetoric could generate.
All that matters to people like him is bending over backwards to prove that he is liberal. And as we see here, one way to do that is to celebrate the murder of Charlie Kirk.
There is a reason why that word will never die.
Dave Chappelle is my “go-to” guy if I want to be morally confused. This painting of Charlie Kirk as some sort of malign and evil presence is a complete mystery to me, as Charlie’s method was that of letting the person who was taking a contrarian position keep explaining WHY that individual had arrived at that conclusion, when there were some large gaps in the logic involved. When the confronting debater saw those gaps, perhaps for the first time ever, observers could see the visible shift in posture and attitude.
It is the shifting of attitudes and beliefs that the Chappelle animosity is based upon, because nobody, NOBODY, in Dave’s mind, should have their foundational beliefs so thoroughly shaken. He seems to believe that exercise somehow destroys the soul of another.
Spiritual growth is not always linear, and may come from unexpected quarters.
How would he feel if it happened to him. What a dirtbag.
Just how did Charlie Kirk affect Chappell’s life to the point he is glad he is dead?
He just wants to be a part of the psycho crowd.
Eff U DC!
Someone should ask him that...in person.
Chappelle continued. “I didn’t ask to feel this way”
Yeah you did Dave when you gave yourself over to evil. Grow up!
I doubt Chappelle even knew who Charlie was until he was assassinated and made national news.
We live in a nation that is steadily giving itself over to a cultural recklessness that will eventually result in the necessity for corrective measures not endured in America since the Civil War.
The very fact that thousands would crowd into a venue featuring a buffoon like Chappelle is proof of the national sickness. The First Amendment notwithstanding...
He is a muslim. He’s black. Not sure what motivates this comment about Charlie Kirk.
