The Post is publishing results of its Kansas Senate poll in the interest of transparency and to highlight the challenges the poll faced.
The Washington Post and George Mason University began contacting voters last week in one of the country’s most competitive but least-polled Senate contests: the race in Kansas between Republican Sen. Roger Marshall and megachurch pastor Adam Hamilton, who is trying to become the first Democratic senator from the state since the Great Depression.

because Republicans dont talk to commie pollsters..commies do which is why again these fake ass pollsters are underestimating Republicans AGAIN
Or worse.
We lie to them.
“Democrats wanted to talk. Republicans, not so much “
That’s because rats are obnoxious, vulgar and in your face.

After more than 85,000 phone calls and nearly 50,000 text messages, a potential problem emerged.
Democrats were far more enthusiastic about taking the poll than Republicans were. Registered Democrats were more than twice as likely as registered Republicans to complete the survey after answering an interviewer’s call — 32 percent versus 12 percent — with a similar partisan gap when texting voters to complete the survey online.”
One has to wonder what the percentages are for those who do not answer the phone to begin with.
>> Democrats were more than twice as likely as registered Republicans to complete the survey after answering an interviewer’s call
...and even so, only 1/3 of even the ‘Rats contacted responded! How the heck can these wankers believe they have a statistically representative sample??!?
MOE is actually, what, 20% maybe? LOL
If they call me I just tell them to talk to Wally.
If I do an online poll, I’m a 28 year old African American conservative woman with a Master’s degree.
Dems can spout most of their nonsense without fear of reprisal. Republicans can say “maybe we should have less 3rd world immigration” and lose their job and get doxed.
After all the crap they have put us through and the way they have treated us?!
F A F O
“ One has to wonder what the percentages are for those who do not answer the phone to begin with.”
In our house, it’s close to 100%, although I have answered polls as my wife, who has a Japanese name.
Many of us repubs wishing not to be bothered by government and politics, the last thing we want to do is add to the misery by responding to polls.
And we are REALLY sick of democrat push polls.
Later...
"The only people who answer the poll questions are Democrats. Everyone else hangs up on me. I don't get it."
Most conservatives and normal people don’t do polls.
It may have been the Mormon Trail
I spoof surveys; that is answer the opposite of my intention.
That's why reading the methodology section is so enlightening.
Pollsters weight the responses they get based on a standard baseline from prior elections. However, when the sample is heavily skewed the weighting becomes excessive.
In 2024, there was a poll subset where only 24 black people responded, and they all agreed with the question. The pollster had to put a footnote in the poll to explain the 100% black response when they weighted it up to 40 people to align with the baseline.
See this November 30, 2024 post of mine that gives examples of this from 2024.

Republicans never answer pollsters or never answer them truthfully, because they don’t want their homes burnt down or be doxxed or many of the other stunts demonicrats do.
