Prosecutors in central New York are reopening an investigation into sickening allegations that seven Cornell University frat brothers horrifically drugged and gang-raped a former student.
Tompkins County District Attorney Matthew Van Houten told ABC News that his office is considering bringing criminal charges related to the case — after the nightmare described in a civil suit filed by the survivor sparked outrage online.

What happened here is so unacceptable I feel rage and shame for this poor woman as a man.
What really bothers me is the fact if it wasn't for two BRITISH actresses I follow on Instagram I would not have not have known about it, or it would have been a while before I did.
Now, some people are trying to politicize this in the name of hating men. No. Indeed, not all men are cool with such acts of evil and I applaud those who are getting the names and faces of the guilty out there. If they can't go to prison may they never have another moment's peace anywhere on God's green earth.

I’ll contain my outrage until I know this is not another case where regret = rape. I have read the woman’s original statement to the Cornell police (hardly a pro-man organization) resulted in no charges because she stated she voluntarily took the drugs and engaged in sexual activity. Further she stated she was not incapacitated or unable to resist.
Given no charges publishing the men’s names while hiding the woman’s in a civil suit makes this all the more suspect.
I looked at the perps. Very bizarre as it is a multi-racial group. Reason I say this as generally, gang-rape is generally done by non-whites in the US, per crime stats (I think FBI).
I observe from the article that congressthing Sandy Cortez is using this crime as an occasion for grandstanding. She disgusts me.

They need to arrest the administrators who gave this “Punishment Assignment” as “accessories after the fact” and prosecute them for failure to report this crime.
