Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) and Sen. Darline Graham (R-S.C.) lead in the latest polling on the South Carolina Republican Senate primary, with both vying to serve a full six-year term following former Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R-S.C.) sudden death.
A new Emerson College poll released Thursday found Norman had 22 percent support, followed by Graham with 19 percent support.

Norman’s biggest support comes from voters younger than 50, at 24 percent, and in their 50s, at 25 percent. Thirty percent of Graham’s supporters are older than 70.
But 53 percent of voters said President Trump’s endorsement of Graham did not affect their support, while 29 percent said the endorsement made it more likely for them to choose Graham over other candidates.

Fox News’ Hannity did an exclusive with Darline Graham to discuss her platform, with Fox News also prominently reporting on Rep. Nancy Mace breaking from Trump and questioning Graham’s primary ballot qualifications.
There has been some discussion about this poll’s methodology but the following may have had an effect on its methodology:
AI (Google):
“South Carolina is an open primary state, meaning voters do not register by political party and can choose which party’s primary to vote in on election day.
Any registered voter in South Carolina can choose to participate in a primary election of their choice, as long as they meet state eligibility requirements and have not already voted in another party’s primary for the same election cycle.”
We need a more conservative SC senator and I doubt the Graham family lineage is capable of producing said result.

Especially a female chick type.
I would take a Marsha Blackburn over a Roger Wicker any day of the week.
The poll also found that former President Joe Biden is most blamed for high grocery prices at 41.6 percent, followed by corporations and Trump. However, President Trump is the top blamed (31.5) for current gas prices, Biden being next at 27.1%.
This, along with a Fox poll showing most Americans want the U.S. to not wage war against Iran anymore, and another poll showing 2/3 Americans wanting the U.S. to stop waging war, the high price of gas, and it being blamed on Trump (either fairly or infairly) seems to be bogging down GOP candidates.
And Lindsey Graham is linked with unending wars.
All it means is that there will be an unnecessary runoff.

True. But the Graham lineage isn’t exactly conservative.
I agree; said that in post 3.
No more dynasties that drift further left as the mantle passes.
Ralph Norman is 73 - going for a first term as a US Senator.
Darlene Nordone is 62 - I guess given the current makeup of the Senate that would be considered youthful...
But is there anyone new - a fresher face that could stand for re-election as an incumbent and not be 70/80s?
How conservative is Norman?
Did Lindsey twist Trump’s arm? No, he didn’t. This is on Trump 100%. Gas prices and the war are result of Trump. You can’t say otherwise.
Mark Sanford continues to ask “What about me? I’m tanned, rested and ready!”
Especially a female chick type.

and a sociology major!
Is a sociology major or a woman more likely to be conservative?
AI Overview
A woman is much more likely to be conservative than a sociology major. Roughly 30% of women identify as conservative, whereas studies of sociology departments show that only about 2% to 4% of sociology faculty and majors hold conservative or right-leaning views.

“””and a sociology major!”””
I did not know that. Definitely need someone else.
Not me. She will be another TN do nothing Rep governor.
I voted Fricks in the primary.
Idiots. Gas prices were higher under Biden. Ours went to $5.29. Under Trump it hasn’t gone over $3.99.
I think that is all the Graham family has been offering...
Not to be disrespectful to the dead but....yeah.
