Other online article only say sexual assault not child sexual assault trial. I think this is the only one that says that.

Unrelated but perhaps of interest. A couple bought a house , previously owned by a well-respected pediatrician, in an upscale neighborhood. After a year or so they decided to have some renovations done to what today we’d call a man cave, the doctor’s den.

First day on the job the contractor called them down to look. Behind a false wall, they uncovered boxes with thousands of 35mm slides of naked children in various poses, both little boys and little girls. The slides were turned over to the police but the doctor was long dead.

Happened down the street from my father and grandmother’s house. Remember it well.

From the article: “Rhode Island State Police said Fischer's arrest brought an end to one of the state's longest-running fugitive investigations, crediting generations of investigators who continued pursuing the case over the past two decades”.

F’ing losers didn’t have the first clue until a citizen investigator LED THEM TO THE FUGITIVE. But congratulations to all those investigators that failed for 20 years. Losers. Promotions are surely in their future.

oh boy. Wow. I wonder if the doctor was a pediatrician or if he treated any children in his practice.

‘Twill be interesting as the perp describes how he avoided detection for 20 years. And presumably bought a very expensive sailboat. He got sloppy and got caught. Happens to the best crooks.
