US May See First Population Decline Decades Early

The United States could record its first population decline in history as soon as this year, decades earlier than previously projected, as President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown sharply reduces net migration, according to new estimates from government agencies and independent researchers, Bloomberg reported on Monday.

For decades, population growth in the U.S. has been driven by immigration offsetting lower birth rates and rising deaths tied to an aging population.

But experts across the political spectrum now say Trump's second-term immigration policies are accelerating a turning point long expected to arrive later in the century.

In its most recent long-term forecast, released in 2023, the U.S. Census Bureau projected the national population would begin shrinking in 2081.

New data and updated projections suggest that timeline may have moved dramatically forward.

The Census Bureau reported this week that in the year ending July 1, 2025, the U.S. population grew by just 0.5%, or 1.8 million people, the slowest growth rate since the COVID-19 pandemic.

The primary reason was a sharp drop in net migration, which fell to 1.3 million from 2.7 million the year before.

During that same period, the Census found there were 519,000 more births than deaths — a surplus that is steadily narrowing.

The Congressional Budget Office has projected that by approximately 2030, deaths will outnumber births, leaving immigration as the sole source of population growth.

Rents will come down.

“Affordability”.

Because 30,000,000 illegal aliens no longer need an apartment. Lower demand, lower prices.

It’s not a problem if we get rid of Social Security.

Back when the impossibly inept Governor Jennifer Granholm was in office, she noted that the Michigan population would have gone down considerably, including losing seats in Congress, except for “immigration” which allowed it to hold almost steady.

People went to find good jobs in other states partly due to the Dem anti-business regulations and anti-achiever taxation policies.

I saw a video by Peter Zeihan (whom I consider to be a CIA asset) on YouTube. He discussed demographics and declining populations: South Korea, Germany, Italy, China, lots of places. Much of the developed world is facing a demographic collapse as population replacement rates have been insufficient to build adequate populations of young people. Many societies, over the past few decades, have set up a path where they will have a lot of old people and not very many young people.

Zeihan’s conclusion (brace yourself) — this is all Donald Trump’s fault because he is removing immigrants which we need to stave off our demographic collapse.

So, it’s a global problem, and it’s been going on for decades ... and it’s Trump’s fault.

Or get rid of 34 million illegal aliens sucking up tax dollars that could go toward social security.

We'll need to kill off all the old people simultaneously of course. Plenty of ice flows this winter to set them on - Eskimo style...

The math is still not there. Social Security is a ponzi scheme.

We paid taxes.

Yeah. It's a rip off.

We'll still need to end Social Security.

We are already heading down that direction.

If there is a population decline, it is just evidence of the dangerous, massive population increase that resulted from Biden’s criminal open borders policy. Millions upon millions teemed across the border. Biden literally advertised in Central and South America for illegals to come to the US. It was insane and it was criminal. Of course the population should decline.

All else being equal, it should not matter to a society whether population is rising for falling.

This was a natural phenomenon across the world for most of human history.

Where is it written that a nations population must ALWAYS rise?

The ONLY people who need a constantly rising population are emperors, governments and bankers (and now progressives and marxists) - to service ever-growing debt, and provide fodder for warfare.

Why would Newsmax say this like it’s a BAD THING? It helps a lot of sectors of our economy to boot these people to the curb. Bad guys FIRST, of course.

However, I still need you ‘kids’ working overtime so I get my candy from ‘Uncle Sugar’ each month! *SMIRK*

We need to fix our welfare state first then we can manage our population decline.

Since our miscreant politicians basically stopped adding public infrastructure when our population was about 200 million, booting out a few tens of millions of illegals should lighten the load on everything from highways, to hospitals, to public schools.

Maybe even within my lifetime I can expect every driver to carry car insurance as they once did.

And maybe, if I live long enough, I'll never have to hear a phone tell me por Espanol oprime el numero dos.

Saw today a bunch of cute stories from people about how their older children reacted to getting another sibling.

In the middle of it a limp wristed sodomite had a screaming meltdown about how we should "JUST STOP BREEDING". Happily he got told to sit down and shut up fag boy.
