Minnesota is a constitutional carry state. Who knows why he was armed, but that doesn’t matter. He was merely exercising his constitutional rights under state law and the 2nd Amendment.
If he were really trying to kill federal officers, why was the gun holstered until they dogpiled him and took it away? Why can the gun be seen in ICE custody before they began shooting him?
What we end with is a legally armed civilian, whose weapon was both holstered and concealed legally, being shot multiple times at close range AFTER ICE physically seized the weapon. There are also multiple videos showing exactly this sequence of events.
Are you suggesting it’s perfectly okay to kill someone the evidence says was not brandishing a legal gun, but was simply exercising his 1st and 2nd Amendment rights under our constitution? Is legally exercising our 2nd Amendment rights now justification for murder?

The video shows the gun was removed from his person, not his hand.
He was a legal gun owner, allowed to carry.
If you think being allowed to carry a gun is constitutional, then it isn’t just for people who you may agree with.

I’ve very seldom encountered anyone here who has really read conservatives like Burke, RUSSELL Kirk, Acton, or even Hayek in context.
Sad really. The rise of what passes for “conservative” talk radio, and the general retreat from teaching Civics in our high schools has left us with many who are completely willing to believe and embrace non-conservative positions in argument and legislation has harmed us in ways we still can’t fully comprehend.
We all look for the people who forever changed our country, but never look in the mirror.
